iLive Horizontal Bluetooth Sound Bar with 2.0 Channel Stereo Speaker (Black)

Very pleased with this! I bought it for a game room that I set up in a 10x10 bedroom and it works perfectly. It was a temp solution since the ps4, furniture and tv ate up most of the budget but honestly this sounds so good that even when I replace it I am just moving to the other tv. I've played games on it, Bloodborne and now The Witcher 3, it handles wii u games, mario kart 8, ect and old vintage game systems like my NES and Sega. The xbox360 games works good as well. Castlevania games sound amazing! I've watched StarWars on it and sounds very good, obv not surround sound but if you want something for a small room it's just perfect. Even makes music off amazon prime through my roku sound good. It has a couple different audio inputs so you aren't tied to just one format.

The speaker is really good. The remote is really crappy. I have a Samsung 42 inch. I had to connect via optical cable. Works great except my other remotes, cable and TV no longer work for volume. The remote with speaker is weak and not very sensitive. I have to get up and put remote directly in front of sensor. Need a better remote!!!!

Has pretty nice sound, have it in the bedroom. All the features work great. Blutooth sync ect. I bought it for the digital optical input from my tv for better sound.For the price the sound quality is very good.the volume is not the best, (does not have a setting that is low for when someone is sleeping and another wants to watch something. you have to adjust both the unit and the tv just right . But, it solves the issue.If it had unreal sound it would get 5 stars. great buy otherwise you will be pleased.Update 2.21.14: It will not connect to my universal remote for my ATT Uverse. I Have it on all the time and running through the box(att)not optimal.(I might give it 1/2 a star less for this, beacause the brand/remote code is not compatible for my ATT box)Originally when plugged in the TV (42" panasonic Plasma) it echoed, because the tv sound and sound bar were not in sync. So I use only the Soundbar volume(which is pretty normal) but sometimes it works and is nice to have the option.

* I wanted the least expensive replacement speaker for my TV that I could get (with digital optical input).* It plays my Blu-Rays and TV shows just fine through the digital optical input. I can adjust the digital optical sound high or very low. I don't know why other reviews have complained that the sound is too loud--I got it whisper-quiet just above the mute level. This is no problem at all with my TV (60" LG).* It plays my songs from my phone via Bluetooth great.* The bass is just fine for my needs--good mid-range bass sound.* Music mode allows you to boost up the bass and treble--I highly recommend that.* The volume can go quite high for such a small unit.* The soundbar also has RCA-hookups and 3.5mm jack hookup, but I don't use those.I really did not want to spend hundreds of dollars on a home-theater system, but I can't stand using the TV speakers. So this soundbar was just what I needed. Audiophiles will want something bigger and better, but this is just perfect for me.

It does not meet my expectations. True it was the least priced book sound bar on Amazon but when I plug it into my TV it sounds real Tinny . Anybody that knows sound knows what I'm saying. The problem is I bought it to make my DVD experience better and it doesn't connect to my DVD it only connects to my TV.wish I would've spent more money and gotten a better system

This soundbar is just not that good. The sound quality is OK but the bluetooth appears not be compatible with mac book pro's as I have two of them that can't connect to it. Also the optical out is not compatible with some LG LED TV's at the least... probably others. If I connect the optical to the TV I just get a rapid clicking noise. I tried a digital converter to see if that would fix it and it did not. I also bought a brand new optical cable and same thing. However if I connect the optical to my Fire TV the soundbar seems to work fine but the Fire TV is very forgiving with it's auto detection of the optical channel unlike the LG LED TV. Either way I am sure other TV's will have this issue. Also, RCA... come on who the heck uses that anymore. I don't have a single device that does so it is useless. But at least I knew that when I bought it. I did not know the optical would not work with my TV and I did not know the bluetooth would not be compatible with mac book pro's. If I were you I would not waste the money and just spend a little bit more for something better.

I purchased 2 to mount vertically and they were 32" to match the screen height. They are glossy black to match my tv. I split the tv-audio output so i can send 2 left-side audio to the 2 RCA inputs on the left speaker and the same with the right side. Now i have full audio L and R coming out where they should. Splitting the optical signal gave me L and R audio from each speaker, which didn't sound "surround-like" at all. The price was perfect so i could buy a pair and it sounds better than the surround system i had. Right now I'm still using my surround system for the sub-woofer until I perfect a better way to connect it. (I should've had a photo ready to attach)

I like the speaker, but I do not like the remote. The remote is very cheap and will not last long I am sure. It is very small and flimsy. It is hard to push the buttons as they are flat and not raised. The speaker is great. I am hard of hearing and now I can hear my dvd player. The speaker if the power is turned off is a trouble. The sound goes to the highest setting when turned back on. So I just leave it on. Hope this does not hurt it. The directions are really hard to follow. No part replacement is noted. I want to get another remote just in case. I will keep it as it fits nicely in front of my tv.
