I've been using these at night, one on each side of my mouth. I have bad allergies + dry mouth so in the morning, my mouth typically feels like chalk. These melts help tremendously. When I wake up, my mouth is just a little bit sticky. Occasionally it's even...normal? It's been so many years I don't have a measure of "normal".If you have a small mouth, these are a little uncomfortable no matter where you place them. They may irritate your gums if you put them too close to the front of your mouth. On occasion the adhesive takes a bit longer to stick. Once it's sticking, though, it lasts all night.They don't have too much taste. Very, very lightly minty sweet. They seem to work best on your upper jaw so the xylitol can trickle down to your tongue and help trigger the production of saliva.I use these at night, two or three Biotene lozenges during the day, and it's sweet relief.

Great product but I did notice some gum irritation after a few days so I started using one on the roof of my mouth and have found this works so much better!! I don’t leave home without them!

I not only like the product but I need it. I sleep with a Cpap mask. When asleep, my mouth drops open so that when I breathe, my mouth dries out. Xylimelts helps in keeping my mouth moist while sleeping. I've used these for several years and have always been pleased. I have one recent concern develop I'm keeping an eye on. One stick on melt has always lasted the night. But with my latest purchase, they seems to dissolve too quickly, than before so that by the time I awaken, my mouth has been dryer that usual. I hope that it's just this lasted purchase and they have not changed the formula or ingredients. I'll need to update at a later time my findings.

Somewhat miraculous. These do everything they purport to do and last forever. Stays stuck and really helps. You’ll forget they are there.

Here's what I discovered when trying XyliMelts: First, I was looking for a product to prevent dry mouth during sleep and tried various sprays, gels and toothpastes. Secondly, the ingredients were acceptable, except for Magnesium Stearate. The company claims that the melts are free of dyes, colors, gluten and most other allergens, which seems accurate from my experience. Also, the company has a good reputation.The directions state to place the flat side of the melt at the gumline on an outside molar. I tried this, and the melt stayed througout the night, secured, and providing moisture when my mouth became dry. By morning, it either dissolved completely or left a small amount, depending on the dryness.Since dry mouth relates to the pancreas, I analyze my diet when experiencing the symptoms at nightime. I also know that insufficient saliva can lead to cavities, and sleeping with a dry mouth worsens this. Note that some flavors have artificial sweenters, so check the label carefully.I will continue using these unless the formula changes, its worth it in so many different ways.

I have been using this product since December of 2023 because of dry mouth due to my medication. Because of my medication, I am always DRY EVERYWHERE especially my mouth. I heard dry mouth causes tooth decay and so my orthodontist recommended these when I had braces. Works pretty well but sometimes sticks out through my cheeks which looks weird. Unless I put two at once, the hydration paste doesn’t distribute evenly on all my teeth unless I use my tongue to slide the paste on all my teeth. It lasts like 2-3 hours max. ALSO ITS SOOOO PRICYYYYYY. I go through 2-3 boxes a month. That’s 35 bucks with taxes every month for something that doesn’t fully satisfy my mouth dryness. 😔😔😔

Was skeptical about it staying in one place but it does. Easy to apply. Small tablet provides moisture for a couple of hours. Would recommend.

This is an excellent product! It adheres well and one disc lasts 4-6 hours. I only use them overnight, because when asleep, I'm a mouth breather. BTW: I'm using them because (unfortunately,) I must take many medications ever day for myriad medical problems. Besides dry mouth being uncomfortable, I've developed numerous cavities in my teeth simultaneously within the past 6 months, (from dry mouth.) I recommend this to everyone who has dry mouth. I am beyond satisfied!
