Well made
Highly recommended ! Only Canada could make such a quality product like this. Nicely constructed with quality materials and stitching, the strap is nice and stretchy, just like what you're hoping to buy for a heavy instrument. Only complaint: the strap adjustment a bit on the long side--adjusting all the way short leaves it still a little longer than I'd like and I'm average stature--5'11" tall. ****WARNING****!!! This strap is available as EXTRA-LONG and REGULAR lengths, Amazon didn't say (look for "XL" in the Amazon Item Number which I received) extra-long which wasn't right for me unless you like the "heavy metal" ape-bass look hanging down at your butt-level. I will exchange.

Great for heavier guitars
This has the usual Levy's quality, so I suspect it will hold up well over time. The strap is much stretchier than I expected, so I needed to shorten it 2 - 3 inches over the leather strap I had been using to make up for the stretch and get the guitars to hang where I like them.Definitely makes my heavier Les Pauls (I have 2 that run about 11 lbs) easier on my back and shoulder, I'm not young anymore... but I probably won't use it with my lighter instruments.

measure yourself!
this strap is nice. seems like a good quality and has a lot of great reviews. the sticking looked strong and it felt great. HOWEVER, im 5'9 180lbs and this thing is wayyyyy too long. Hoped I had mistakenly ordered the XL but nope.. either I play my bass way too high or im way too short. regardless, getting returned.

My Shoulder and Back Truely Appriciates This!
As a bassist I'm always on the look out for the next best thick padded guitar strap. I have a Mono M80 Betty guitar strap on my Fender Modern Player Jazz Bass V. Comfy but, but as I said I'm always on the look out for something better.I saw Anthrax bassist Frank Bello using this and thought I'd give it a shot. And I dig it!I had read some reviews before buying it of course. I'm glad I didn't get the XL version, because mind you I'm 6'3" and its perfect.I have it on my Spector NS2000 Q5 at the moment, The elastic in the strap helps it sit perfectly and gives it a little bounce, which takes the weight off. But this also scares me that eventually the elasticity will wear out and stretch down too far.So far I haven't read any complaints about this, so that's good lol.All in all if you are looking for a comfy strap...Then buy this!Side note...If you don't mind spending a little more, I say also check out the Mono M80 Betty.

Awesome quality strap, but it's too long
In terms of quality construction and comfort, I'd rate this strap 5 stars. However, it is too long. Levy's website states that this strap is adjustable between 46 and 53 inches; I should have measured some of my other guitar straps before ordering, as even its shortest setting of 46 inches is too long for me (I'm 6'2" and weigh 185 lbs, and my current strap is adjusted to about 42.5"). And this is not even the "XL" model, which is 12 inches longer! Because of the strap's high quality, though, I'll be taking it to a shoe repair place near me to have them them modify it to fit me better, assuming the job doesn't cost more than the strap did in the first place. See my attached photo of the length of strap that will need to be removed. Bottom line: really awesome quality strap; just measure some of your current guitar straps from strap-button-hole to strap-button-hole to see if the 46" to 53" size range will work for you.

Strong recommend
Very happy with this strap. It's slightly "stretchy", but not overly so. The padding is think and SO comfortable compared to the basic straps I had been using. No flaws found in the construction, and I like the color scheme. As I've gotten older, I'm getting a little pain and I wanted a more comfortable experience on stage. This strap absolutely delivered and is now my main strap.I had a little bit of trouble fitting strap-locks because the leather ends are so thick, but a little persistence did the trick.

The most gentle on your shoulder
Other guitar straps I tried made claims of being elastic but they were not, this strap is! Plenty of cushion and give. I tried several straps half the price and with more padding but this one is the perfect blend of stretch and padding. I'm playing standing up more and more and of the half dozen straps I tried this one is by far the best.
