GEARWRENCH 12 Piece Punch and Chisel Chrome Set | 82305

Good quality

First time using the 1/4" and 3/8" chisels to pound out some badly rusted retaining clips on u joints and the tips of the chisels were completely ruined. I would have given 2 or 3 stars but after a 5 minute call to apex tools, replacements were on the way to my house. I appreciate the quick and easy warranty process but these should be made with harder material. I have not had any issues with the punches as of yet.

I’m a diesel mechanic, so I am hard on my tools. I buy a ton of tools off the trucks because of warranty and I need the quality. I have also always been a fan of the Gearwrench brand. These are great quality punches and chisels. Gearwrench warranty is super easy through their website. I’ve waited longer for a tool truck to come back to the shop than I have for a Gearwrench warrantied tool.

They’ve worked great but a friend borrowed one to do something on his truck and destroyed it lesson learned hopefully

Used these many times but as soon as they were used against hardened steel the chipped. I tired a few of them and every one of them chipped. Going to try to warranty and see how that goes. Overall not terrible but could be better.

As a millwright, this is hands down something anybody that really works on anything needs to have. Maybe one day they will let me become a product tester!

Honestly I'm not sure how every household doesn't have a set! It's like not having a hammer!I've had a small punch set in the past and have been fairly content with it. Not sure what happened to it either. Not noticing how often I complained about not having a punch or a drill guide my wife decided to purchased this set (gearwrench is my preference in tools great quality low cost). This package is huge! Has all the necessities for a DIY'er. Clean, heavy, durable.The carrying case is nothing abnormal, most all punch sets come in a similar package, if not all of them. Although,I wish they would start making a flap at the end so the last punch wasn't prone to falling out or withstanding the elements when being tossed around.
