My son has extremely sensitive skin and this has been great for him. Very light sent easy to rinse. The only downfall is it is NOT tear free.

i had to come back and review this shampoo , after struggling to find the right one for 3 year old daughter i came across Fresh Monster and i loved it !!! every other brand was leaving her with a itchy scalp. Hasn’t been bothered ever since . DEFINITELY recommend if you have a child who is delicate .

Father in charge of bath duty for a 2.5 year boy old here…I’ve been hunting out a good, safe brand of soap for my kiddo for quite some time. I’d done research about how most affordable, big brand soaps have synthetic fragrances, sulfates, parabens and oodles of other ingredients – some of which have been tied to health issues, some of which still have the jury out on their risks. Then I tested sevreral more natural versions of kid/baby soap. I’ve tried so many different kinds including Aveeno, Honest Company, Earth Mama, Burt’s Bees, Shea Moisture (which I also like), etc. Most were fine, though the prices weren’t great. When I was finally introduced to Fresh Monster and used it, it took the top spot. We bought the “Ocean Splash Shampoo & Body Wash”. What’s great is that it’s priced like the big brands containing scary stuff, but is as natural (or better) than the more expensive natural brands I was using. On top of that, it smells great. Definitely not perfume-y, but a nice, subtle, clean and natural scent. I love the funky, kid-appealing packaging. Kiddo loves the monster on it (which I just realized is a monster with a fishbowl on his head, not a monster in an astronaut suit, which makes sense). It’s great stuff, I will continue to have it as my go-to soap for the kiddo. The wife and I also tested it on ourselves before we used it on him, and enjoyed it. It’s very effective. Worth noting is that they have a few Shampoo+Conditioner options, then this Shampoo+Body Wash product that we bought. So we do have to use a separate conditioner/detangler for his hair in addition to the Fresh Monster “Ocean Splash” product.

I love this shampoo. The ingredients blew me away! They are all natural and great. Even the scents are natural!!The smell is a really clean, fresh, almost beach-y scent. Although I do like fruity kids shampoos, I do prefer the fresh and clean smell!I haven't heard either of my kids complain about it getting in their eyes and hurting, either. My kids are pretty sensitive to most shampoos. My oldest (4.5) will get redness all around his eyes even if the shampoo doesn't come into contact with his eyes. He's just THAT sensitive to the scents and other ingredients. However, there was absolutely no issues with this shampoo. He seemed perfectly fine.The only reason I give it 4 stars is that the bottle seems a bit small for the price, I wish it was bigger and lasted longer but you do get what you pay for and in this case you are getting a completely natural shampoo & body wash with a great scent. Sometimes I even add a squirt or two to the running bath water to get some bubble bath action! I also have their detangler and love it so much! I'm excited to look at the rest of their products.

It’s a good product, like the smell and doesn’t cause any problems or rash for my kids.

I like Little Monster products, especially because of the pump (Easy for kids to use an appropriate portion) and chemical formula (No fragrances, dyes, sulfates, etc.) However, Ocean Splash smells LIKE DOG SHAMPOO. It really smells like a stinky, flea-removing, dog shampoo. So my kids smell clean (like freshly bathed dogs...) but thank goodness the odor doesn’t linger too long after the bath! I have used a Little Monster body wash a few years ago with a different smell and loved it. Since you can’t smell it before buying it online, just be a little wary. Hope you like the smell of a freshly bathed dog.

My 5 year old tells me it smells yucky when I wash his hair, I have to agree. Accidentally ordered this scent instead of our usual watermelon, a mistake I’ll carefully avoid in future. Does the job though.
