Ssanggye TeaKorean Premium Tea 1g X 40 Tea Bags (Burdock Tea)

Heard great things about burdock tea, lots of health and beauty benefits (weight loss, acne, detox, blood circulation, lowering blood sugar levels, etc.). Many Koreans including celebrities enjoy drinking burdock tea and even apply it as a mask (soaking cotton pads in the tea and put it on the face, I haven't tried this yet). This is my first try with burdock tea I think, the flavor is mild but yummy, reminds me of the popular Korean barley tea. The package arrived within reasonable time, it was nicely packaged. I did some research and it seems there is no caffeine in burdock tea, so I'm glad for that as I'm still breastfeeding. And the flavor is very yummy, I like it hot and cold. But probably prefer hot on most occasions. I left the tea bag in the whole time I drank it which took about 40 minutes I think and the taste didn't get bitter or too thick as most tea would, so I like that.

I have a Korean friend who gave me some of this tea to try and I thought that it was absolutely delicious. Hence, I decided to ship this tea, as the flavour and medical properties are definitely worth the price: I take this tea straight, but milk goes good with it too. The shipping took a bit long, but I guess it makes sense since it comes from such a faraway place. The product was well shielded and it was exactly what I expected. So enjoy!

Awful taste. I don't know how anyone drinks it.

Could not taste the burdock. Not smooth. Bland but bitter after taste.
