This product is wonderful!!! A new puppy recently arrived to my household and knowing that he would be actively teething, I purchased this product to make sure I could minimize the damage from his little chompers. As predicted, my puppy immediately took a liking to all of my shoes, furniture corners, and walls. The first time I sprayed this product on my shoes, my new pup took a sniff and walked away and didn't return to chew on it. The effect does wear off after a day or two, but all I have to do is spray around the house and it keeps my pup from chewing up a storm! Not only is the product great, but the seller is amazing as well. I was very impressed to receive a follow up email from the company founder asking about my satisfaction with the product and found their customer service to be fantastic as well. I definitely recommend this product to anyone with a new pup in the house!!!

I have been using the product for the last 5 ...
I have been using the product for the last 5 days, spraying on locations of furnitures where my 10 week old puppy is biting. It seem to work for about 5 minutes and beyond that he continues to bite. I have not tried any other products and dont have any comparison. I am waiting for him to grow up to get rid of the habit.

Might work, depends on your dog.
I had mixed emotions about the outcome of using this product. I had read several reviews and saw that some people stated that it worked and some said that it didnt. I took a chance and ordered it and for my dog. It did not work. The reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because it obviously does work (according to others on here) unfortunately, I have a doberman and anyone who has owned one knows just how obsessive that they are and that is not OmegaPet's fault. I just wish that they made a product that was strong enough to deter an obsessive doberman.

Will Not Work With a Yorkie
Purchased this product with the adoption of a new puppy. Having her go through a very rough chewing phase I thought this might be a great way to save my dining table and a few more furniture pieces.Upon application somehow I accidently managed to get some into my mouth through my hands and it had a horrible bitter taste. Apparently though my Yorkie was just extremely excited by this product and the taste, and began chewing exactly where I had just sprayed.I tried applying a few more layers of the product to the same spot, and right away she was exactly to the same spot continuing her enjoyment of my dining room table.I would hope that this was a universal product and that breed did not matter, but it definitely will not work with a Yorkie.

the lab puppy she doesn't like it, but the Australian herding dog he is ...
This stuff works okay or either our puppy is just stubborn and immune to it lol! You ca spray it and he will snort and sniff and then be over it...the lab puppy she doesn't like it, but the Australian herding dog he is pig headed so that may have something to do with it. As far as spraying it on things and them not chewing on them mmmm I don't see a huge difference.

A lifesaver!
We have a large terrier who is great with cats, except that she plays too roughly with our youngest cat. This cat engages in rough play with the dog and encourages her to romp and wrestle. It is a playful exchange, but when the dog began putting her mouth all over the cat and even picking him up and pulling him along the floor in her mouth, we began to worry that he could get hurt. She has that terrier tendency to shake her toys violently, and doing this even once with the cat could break his neck.We had this anti-chew spray on hand and decided to give it a try for this non-typical purpose. I pumped a bit in my hand and rubbed it down the cat's head and back. Surprisingly, the cat didn't seem to mind! Better yet, the dog put her mouth on the cat just once after that first application, and hasn't done it again since. Now, she'll nudge the cat with her nose, but not put her mouth on her. Even when the cat isn't wearing his "dog repellant", the dog seems to have learned that the cat tastes bad and avoids contact. It has quite literally been a lifesaver at our house. Cat and dog can be together when we aren't right there to provide direct supervision. As a word of caution, this product does contain tea tree oil, which is toxic to cats when concentrated. We used it with reservation, but because our cat doesn't lick it, the benefit seems to outweigh the risk - especially if we can recondition the dog in a short period of time. It wouldn't fix a dog that is truly aggressive toward cats, but has worked wonders for our mouthy, playful pup. Here's hoping our fluke experience might help others!

Not working
After we sprayed Best Bitter Apple on an item our puppy wanted to chew, she promptly began to chew on it once more. Also on a wicker chair that we sprayed. Sorry to say that the spray has not helped her unwanted chewing at all

I like this product
I like this product... It doesn't stink really bad and it works at first. My only complaint is that once the product dries, it no longer is effective. So I have to keep applying it on my slippers, but once I do, he does stop chewing and attacking them, so that is nice.
