These mugs have a beautifully designed and the flowers are delicately drawn, discreet in color. If you like bold color on your fine bone china, maybe you would prefer mugs with bolder colors. I love everything about the mugs except for handle thinness. They are not rounded and some people with arthritic fingers could find this a problem. I love mine and have morning coffee using them every day.
