Excellent Gerber Multi-Plier Addition
You can add to the versatility of many Gerber Multi-Plier models with the addition of this Gerber 22-49445 Tool Kit . There are many excellent tool and blades that come built into these multi-tools, but if you're looking to expand the functionality of these products, then this is a reasonably priced way to do it.I have a Gerber Suspension Multi-Plier , which is used on an almost daily basis. Sometimes it's just not convenient to go running for a tool kit when doing those 'quick-and-dirty' jobs, and this tool kit looked like a great convenience, so I bought it. The single-ended bits that came with it were:* Three flat bits, marked #3, #5, #7* Three Phillips (crosshead) bits, P1, P2, P3* Three hex bits, 3mm, 4mm, 6mmThe heart of this tool kit is the magnetic bit adapter, which slips easily onto the multi-pliers' extended Phillips (crosshead) screwdriver blade. Once this is done, it holds the bits easily. The adapter and the bits are stored inside an included black molded flexible holder, and a black ballistic cloth nylon sheath with a belt loop comes with it. See the customer image that I posted here to see it all in action. The adapter accepts any standard single-ended 1/4'' hex bit on the market, be it slotted, Phillips, square, Torx or hex. For example, I had a need for a Torx Driver Tamper Proof Security Bits Set for use with certain computer and general applications. They worked quite well with the magnetic adapter, and there's enough room to to store this and other bit sets in the tool kit's nylon sheath.According to the manufacturer, this Multi-Plier Tool Kit fits the Gerber Flik , Freehand , Diesel , Radius, Method, Tread, Crus and Suspension multi-tools. If it has one of those flat crosshead blades, as do these, it should work. There may be other Gerber models that will work with this handy kit, but if you have one of those, it might be best to check the directions that came with the product. There's a different 10-Piece Tool Kit available for Gerber's MP400, MP600, MP650, MP700, MP800, but I have no experience with it. I personally wouldn't use these with a model that didn't have a locking crosshead blade, if just for safety reasons. One thing for sure is that there will not work with the Gerber Clutch Mini Pliers ... it's just too small. This Gerber Tool Kit is a great idea, one that allows you to extend your tool usage immensely by adding any 1/4" single-ended bit to your multi-pliers. It's an excellent solution if you're looking to maximize the performance of your Gerber Multi-Plier, while still maintaining a high level of versatility.Highly recommended for those with such a need.

Great price. Nice tools.
Toolkit is relatively small. Fits on back of my belt. Can sit in car, carts without problem. There is a little wiggle when the adapter/add-on tool is slid over the slim Phillips in the Gerber Diesel multi-plier but someone with a Leatherman product exclaimed that the fit and feel was great as compared to his add-on toolkit.

Adapter slightly defective
I bought the Gerber 22-49445 10-Piece Tool Kit for my Gerber Suspension Multi-tool. All of the 10 pieces are high quality and the bits fit snugly and securely into the adapter. I like the rubberized holder for the tool pieces and the case is well made and big enough to hold other bits and blades. The problem, which I note others have had too, is that the adapter does not fit securely onto the multi-tool's Phillips (cross-head) driver and will fall off if held down. Some people have speculated that the magnet is in upside down and that it only is magnetized on one end. That is not the case. All magnets have two poles and this one does too. Just insert a small nail into the screwdriver side and you can tell it is magnetized. Some people have suggested wrapping a piece of tape onto the Phillips driver and making it more snug that way. That should not have to be the fix. The problem I have identified is that the machining of the inside of the screwdriver insert end is just a wee bit shallow, almost exactly 1/16th", just enough so that the magnet is not engaged. I like to fix stuff so I will try to get a Dremel bit in there and take off a bit of metal on each of the narrow sides so the Phillips head will slip just a bit farther into the adapter and the magnet will take over. My fix will probably void any warranty on the Tool Kit but what the hell, it's less than ten bucks and I can say, "Fix'd it!" (I hope.)FOLLOWUP. I fix'd it but it was easier than I thought and I was wrong about defective machining. The magnet was held in place by two little spanner washers on each end. (I am not sure what they are called but they compress and then expand to lock the magnet in place. I took a chopstick, whittled it down and pushed the magnet and the two washers out. Then I experimented a bit about what to do and finally decided to leave the top washer out that seemed to separate the magnet from the tip of the Phillips head driver. I put it back together and everything fits perfectly and the adapter works the way it was supposed to. I think that in the original putting it all together process an extra washer got mistakenly stuck on the top of the magnet and squished into where it did not belong and that extra 1/100th of an inch was enough separation from the magnet to stop the necessary magnetic hold onto the screwdriver top. I will upgrade to four stars. Not five because it wasn't perfect. But it was fun fixing it.LLP

Nice tool
I was a little apprehensive about this Gerber add-on. My first concern was the pouch. I didn't want an extra one on my belt. Well, my Gerber Diesel Multi-tool fits in the pouch along with the tool kit, and probably fits better than the pouch my Diesel came with. The extra bits aren't rock solid but they do the job fine. I thought they would slip off but they have stayed on just fine.

Works with Leatherman Squirt PS4 Multi Tool
It fits great on the Leatherman PS4. Wow!The Leatherman Squirt PS4 Multitool - Flat Blade, snaps into this adapter. The magnet in the adapter holds it on the PS4's Flat Blade. Yes, the Flat Blade can twist a little bit. But, turn it the 5 degrees and it provides the force to turn whatever you are working on. -- i.e. it can turn free about 5 degrees, but that's no problem. It just works great. It does NOT fit on the Leatherman Wave. You would have to build an adapter piece, which is too much work for most people. Including me.=====Comment: The Leatherman PS4 is a tiny, tiny Multitool, 2.25" long when closed, 2 oz weight. I use it as a keychain and carry it in my pocket. So it's not designed for heavy work. Not sure if I will carry the Gerber Adapter to 1/4" Hex in my pocket? And if so, maybe only one or two bits ???Just wanted to let other Leatherman PS4 owners know this Gerber Adapter works with the PS4. Also, love that this Gerber Adapter has a magnet inside to hold it on the Multitool, and to hold the bits.

It works, but it could fit better
I got this to go with my Gerber Diesel, and it make a great tool even more functional, it's magnetic so the bits stay put and it comes with a new sheath so it all fits nicely. The adapter goes with practically any bit with a hex base My only issue is the fit of the adapter to the tool, it is a bit loose and tends to fall off, but this may be a specific issue to the Diesel pliers.
