Great book with a POC character that is not about trauma. It's just a little girl who is excited about space, trying to get her big brother to pay attention to her.

My sweet 2 year old boy can’t stop talking about being an astronaut. I figured reading a book with a little black girl (yes, we are black) who wants to do the same thing would be exciting and enlightening for him. He. Loves. It. Well written and holds his attention. We read it over and over.

Bought this through Amazon book box subscription, and the very day my son just took and started reading. The pages are vibrant. I'm impressed because I was interested as well.

We love this book. My daughter is a bit young (22 months) for the actual content but the pictures charm her and she likes finding the cat. We, the parents, love the story, very sweet with an actual emotional arc.

Adorable book with a POC main character. We absolutely loved Rocket's love of space and her efforts to get her big brother to stop playing on his phone.

What a great book. My 5 y/o just loves this one. We read it several times a week at bed time.

Bought this book after it was referred to me by a coworker who follows the illustrator. Glad I did. My granddaughter loves it!
