My Little Pony Toy Rainbow Tail Surprise - Collection Pack of 6 3" Pony Figures with Color-Change Features, Kids Ages 3 Years Old & Up

This set is probably one of the best sets being released for My Little Pony this year! The set is based on the special "Rainbow Roadtrip" where the main cast visits the town of Hope Hollow only to find that it has been devoid of all color, and therefore they help bring the color back. Despite not necessarily being true to the story and animation, as the main cast was never a part of the color loss, the set does depict the idea of retrieving color that the animation had quite well!Twilight Sparkle also features Rainbow Wing decor as seen in the animation.The figures appear amazing, each one has gotten a new eye print since the last set making them appear even more show accurate, especially Twilight, not to mention they also make them appear more animated too. The color changing tails work very well under cold water, but do keep note that the tails can pop off to mix and match. The colors are fun and vibrant. Any child or adult will be in love with this set!

Got these for my 3yr olds birthday, she’s obsessed with MLP. They were a huge hit and she’s been toting them around ever since. She did pop all the tails off the first night she took them to bed but I was able to get them all back on and told her to be careful cause I don’t believe they’re meant to come off. I may end up having to super glue them in the long run. A hard enough drop pops the tail off. It seems it’s a certain kind of white paint on the tails which reveals the colors underneath when dipped in water. Some of the paint has already worn off but my kid doesn’t seem to mind, she still loves them.

There are as many varieties of My Little Ponies as there are new named ponies being added. I tend to go after the ones with hair manes, not plastic. They were the original design. I find too that they are a child's favorite. I bought these plastic mane ponies to have in the toy box , where they get ruffer treatment.

The tails are not that sturdy and will break off after awhile of play. It still was nice gift though.

cute and works well in hot or cold water works fast just dip the pony in any water and watch the tail turn beautiful colors you can do it over and over again.

This might be the best MLP set Hasbro has put out to date! You dip the tails in clean tap water and they'll each change colors reminiscent of their respective Rainbow Power colors from Twilight's Kingdom. The colors fade back to white kind of fast but that's not a problem because it's a fun repeated playability feature you or your kids could have a blast with all day! Excellent set that I highly recommend!

purchased this set to use as cake toppers, the are very cute, however the tails are very fragile and even getting them out of the packaging was difficult because they felt like they were going to break off. successfully I removed from packaging and they looked great. the white pony with purple hair doesn't balance right away on its own.

Granddaughter luvs these pony they change tail color in water. Great gift for any child 5 or older because the tails are interchangeable. Not for small toddlers though. The tail comes a loose
