The best meter I've used for battery testing

THE SECOND TIME I USE IT, IT BROKE DOWN. I HAVE TO SEND IT BACK TO MANUFACTURE TO REPAIR IT. MIDTRONIC DID NOT COVER THE 124.00 FEE TO SHIPPED IT BACK TO THEM. WHAT A JOKE. THE DISPLAY IS TOO SMALL TO READ IT. THIS WILL DAMAGE YOUR VISION BY READING SMALL LETTERING. IT TOOK A LONG,LONG,LONG TIME TO INPUT NAME AND ADRESS. YOU MUST REMIND YOUR EMPLOYEES NOT TO DROP THIS DEVICE. IT IS NOT MAKE FOR COMMERCIAL USE.

I did quite a bit of research before I bought this. There are a ton of cheaper models available and I was replacing a cheaper one with this model. I really wanted one with an agm test pattern and this one had it. Plus the printer was a bonus. Even though I could have spent less on a different brand I decided to buy from a local to me (Illinois) business with a great reputation. I have some other midtronics equipment and I'm more than happy with it. When it came in and I opened the box I was more than upset. MADE IN CHINA. Why did I pay a premium? I know the design and engineering is probably done here but if you slash the cost of production shouldn't the price of the tool reflect that? It's not a bad little tool and it's nice to give the customer a print out but you still need a load tester to properly test batteries. This will only help if the battery really bad.

This tester cost a lot of money, one bad connection and the tester burn out completely. Very disappointment. How they charge so much money for something that has no fuse protector. I threw it in the garbage where it belong.
