It does a great job and it makes you happy!
It is very rare to find a product that is aesthetically pleasing, well designed and does the job. Well, this is one of those products Plus the fact that is a Fun Fan. It brights up the kitchen, it makes you want to cook more and guess what it even helps improve my cooking. I usually forget what I am cooking in my saucepans and the steam overflows and then it takes me half an hour to clean all the surfaces and it is frustrating. With this little flower I left the food unattended and I found out that the food because of the proper steam release (Thank U God finally got there) was cooked better and faster. And every now and then I was just having a look at the beautiful margarita spinning. So fan to watch, so fan to have it in the kitchen. I suppose for the kinds this will be great fun too. For my inner kind that was SUPER.Practical information. The green part is made of silicone. I have saucepans with a little brim and it works just fine with them but if your pans are having a clean cut edges then it will sit even more vertical. The flower part is unfortunately made from plastic and it spins beautifully with a little bit of steam... But one day I was cooking with three pans at the same time and it was in the middle of them and as a result I withness the the petals of the flower getting withered. I managed to save them but they are not in the same ankle as they were the day I bouht it. On the other hand now by flowes has it's own personality you could say. So better use it on the side of the pans that is external to the rest of the cooking items. You can store it in a place you can see all the time while not cooking because it is so fun and beautiful. This is the first time I bought an Ottoto design and I love the quality the ingenuity and I think I will look for their products. Don't miss this one. It will bright up your mood for sure...

Best purchase ever
Could I just stick a wood spoon under the lid? Sure. But would it bring me as much joy? Absolutely not. This works great for steaming and frying. It does it's job and looks super cute when not in use. I put mine in a tiny vase bc of course I did.

So fun
It's really cute. If you set it up correctly, the little Daisy spins around. But you have to have everything set up otherwise it won't spin and it gets kind of Tippy one way or the other. However I have to say that when I'm making spaghetti and I put this little guy on the pot for boiling water, it makes me happy

I love this item
I love this item. It is so different than any I have. It spins as the hot air hit it.

Works great - and it's cute!
This works wonderfully as a steam releaser so pots don't boil over. I really like the cuteness factor- watching the flower spin with the rising steam.

An overpriced small delight
Usually I use a clothespin to hold pot lids ajar, but I got this delightful trinket as a stocking stuff for myself because I couldn't justify the price. For context I have spent $95 on a scented candle more than once. [Yes, I am embarrassed, but if you're considering buying this then you plainly waste money too.]It spins like mad on a partially lidded pot at a light simmer- this is on a gas stove where the flame naturally drafts upward. I wouldn't risk a high flame as I would expect some melting.
