These pens are consistently wonderful writing instruments. Each pen has consistent flow, nib and line weight and weight in the hand. We’ve ordered several boxes of this style and each pen performs just as well as the next. The ink lasts a long time and it dries fairly quickly on the page. I know that my husband will need more pens for work and these are his favorites so we will definitely continue to buy more.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The only pens I’ve used now for about 10 years. Never knew what a difference a quality pen made until I got into these and it was love at first use.

I prefer rolling ball pens because I dislike the feel to the somewhat sticky, softer movement of a ballpoint. I especially like the fine line width of this pen (it seems a bit hard to find anything in a .5 mm, which is my preferred writing width).The pens write smoothly, and I haven't encountered any breaks in the line or sticking of the point. To be fair, I haven't run it anywhere near the "empty" point, so that may change as the reservoir runs dry. I especially like the fact that the ink in these pens doesn't seem to smudge easily, a problem I had with some other rolling ball pens. It might be that the others used gel ink, but they took a few seconds to dry completely, during which time they had a tendency to smudge or transfer to an overlying page. These seem to resist casual smudging almost immediately after you've written enough to get the pen out of the way.The only reason I don't give it a full five starts is that it IS refillable, but refills seem to be hard to find. I couldn't find them on Amazon, and it doesn't seem like any of my local retail stores carry them.
