From France Lu Petit Beurre Biscuits 7 oz Pack of 2

Of all the fancy cookies out there, these have a very special place in my heart! The quality is awesome and it’s one of those cookies you probably don’t want to make at home.I got lucky ordering 2 packs of these because they arrived with only 4 broken biscuits, and they were just merely broken in half despite Amazon only put them in a flimsy plastic envelope with no padding. They need to add bubbles wrap around these or at least put them in a bubble envelope.The delivery guy gently placed the package at my door instead of throwing them like most usually do. So I’m lucky this time. It’s difficult getting these locally because all the places I know just stop carrying them. So I don’t know if I’ll be lucky getting these next time.

Why you raise the price from $20 to $30 ???😳

So happy we can buy these on Amazon. Ordered the four pack, and some of the end pieces were broken. We don’t mind, though, they taste the same. Will order again.

They were great, buttery tasting.. Just not worth the price for me. Was trying to find a replacement for Mari Lu cookies that are stupidly no longer in production. But hey, if you have money to burn... these are good!

They tasted burnt, seems like a different cookie. Bought for many years never these dark and burnt taste

I really like these Lu Petit Beurre Biscuits and have ordered them multiple times. The only problem I have had is they have mostly arrived broken into multiple pieces due to the packaging done by the shipper. The 4 pack comes wrapped in plastic wrap and then is put into a brown paper bag and shipped via ups without any additional protection for the product. First one I ordered was for a Christmas get together...needless to say, I didn't share the pieces. Why do I keep ordering them? I really like the cookies and hope they will eventually be better protected when shipped so they are unbroken upon arrival.

What Oreos are to American kids, Petit Beurre is to French kids. These are old school CLASSIC COOKIES! These are the original Petit Beurre, others are the same shape but not the same consistency quality and flavor. When you open the pkg you can SMELL THE BUTTER! My French grandmother used to make a tiramisu-like dessert by dipping them in espresso, layering with a custard made with rum, dusted with cocoa powder and refrigerated overnight. The next day the cookies are transformed into a cake layer. This does NOT work with any other faux Petit Beurre cookie, those just turn to soggy mush (I'm looking at you Bahlsen Petit Beurre). Lu even has a cookbook in France of all the things you can make with these Petit Beurre cookies. Sadly, Mondelez stopped selling the plain, very versatile Petite Beurre cookies in North America, only the chocolate dipped Petit Ecolier (which, the chocolate is so thick I have to used a potato peeler to shave it down as fast as I can or it starts melting in my hand and gumming up my peeler) so now I order them from overseas. Mondelez really needed to do more PR for this legendary cookie. I will continue buying them. They arrived unbroken and perfectly fresh.

Love the buttery taste, goes well with a dish of ice cream.
