Works great, I love these quality

Craftsman is a great brand and this knife fits our needs here on the farm. The blade retracts, and the knife will fold so it fits in your pocket easily. Its ergonomically pleasing to hold the knife so easy on your hands. The blade is easy to replace when that time comes. Great tool.

I love this knife! The grip is great, so easy to use, not too heavy, and absolutely LOVE the extra storage. The fact that it’s retractable is why I bought this specific one, it’s so hard to find a retractable, folding, knife like this.

It was well constructed and is real handy

The design for blade insertion and replacement must have been funded by emergency rooms, because this is the fastest way to urgently require stitches on your fingertips due to what is normally a simple and benign tool and process. Caveat emptor! There are no instructions included in the packaging. In order to insert a blade or replace a blade, you must press a small, flimsy black plastic button that breaks quickly. If you are lucky enough to be able to push down on the black button without it breaking, you must simultaneously with the other hand insert the blade (sharp on all three edges that you must hold) with your bare fingers against much resistance. This is an extremely dangerous way to replace a blade in a simple box cutter.

I like its compact size. It’s very sturdy, well made, and comfortable to hold. It is a bit confusing on how to insert blade and fold it. So, I’ve made a note: The black hatch on the handle stores extra blades. When inserting a blade, fully extend blade housing, push in little black button all the way and slide blade in, let go of little black button and wiggle blade and it should click into place. Retract blade. To fold, press serrated piece of metal that’s on the underside of handle towards the side and fold the blade portion down. I hope this helps.

I don't get the bad reviews this item is getting. The handle looks sturdy. the blade looks stable, on top of it there is storage of the blade on the handle. The two comments I have is that unless you watch a youtube video on how to replace the blade, it will be difficult to figure out at first. but once you know how, its fairly easy. The other comment is that the blade is only single use. once its dull you have to replace the whole thing

Love this knife. Gave one to my son and kept the other as a spare.

Great to have on hand

Excelente custo benefício, depois da decepção com o DEWALT DWHT10035L que aparentemente é o mesmo modelo, este canivete Crafstman surpreede com o acabamento refinado e a confiabilidade que passa no manuseio, tudo muito bem ajustado sem folgas ou rebarbas.

Do not buy! The handle does not secure the blades. Looks like a design flaw. Once the blade is in it will no longer retract or fold.

Absolutely no instruction on how to find the blades and how to put one in place for the cutter to work ! I finally manaqed to install one (not really the right way), but it's very risky for your fingers while you try to do so !
