The bulb is perfect. Exactly what I needed. Its bright and does its job. The package comes with 2 bulbs. I was only expecting one. So that's a plus. From the time I received it to getting it installed it only took about a minute.

Exactly what I was looking for and half the price then a box store and I got 2! Works perfectly and now I have an extra. I have a microwave above the stove and this is the light that lights up my stovetop

Giving a 4 because of shipping. These come in an envelope and one of the bulbs was broken. We only needed one, so we threw the other away. Maybe better protection for them would be a consideration? Bulb was PERFECT and works great! Now my mom doesn't have to cook in the dark.

Did the job! I put these in my Samsung microwave. They work well and are the proper brightness.

These two LED light bulbs have an E17 size screw-in base and each bulb consumes only 3 watts of power. They replaced the two 40 watt incandescent bulbs in bottom of my GE Profile Over-The-Range microwave oven. The old 40 watt bulbs generated so much heat that you could burn your fingers if you touched the glass door covers after only a short time. I installed these bulbs today and let them run on "high" for three hours, and when I touched the glass cover door of the light, I was amazed that I felt nearly no heat at all! I tried the High/Low light settings for this microwave, and I could see no flickering on either setting. These two bulbs were each packaged in a thin plastic clamshell that helped to protect the bulbs. The clamshell plastic was then slid into a white cardboard box, and there were two of these boxes inside a larger box. Needless to say, the bulbs arrived in perfect shape. These lights have a "whiter" illumination (higher Kelvin rating) than the incandescent bulbs, which is something that I like. I will update this post if and when that time comes when the bulb functions no more.

I was hesitant to purchase these LED lightbulbs to replace the original GE microwave Incandescent bulb that finally burnt out after 6 years of intermittent use. I replaced both incandescent bulbs although only one had burnt out (so light output would match). Initially, the light emitted seemed too bright and kinda hurt my eyes. Especially when using my stainless steel cookware vs my black enameled cast iron cookware. However, about a week into using them, that was no issue. The bulbs emit a brighter light, easier to see into the black cast iron plus the bulbs do not emit heat like the incandescent bulbs. I use to be concerned how hot the incandescent bulbs were and would never leave the lights on for any long duration for fear of possible fires. The glass covering to each light would get really hot to the touch. I have left these LED lights on for a couple of hours and glass covers were still cool to the touch. These also work fine with the dimmer function of the microwave light. Can’t speak to longevity of the bulb before burnout but am satisfied with them and now prefer these over the incandescent bulbs.
