Works perfectly
Very easy and inexpensive repair for a 15-year old fluorescent fixture. This was about 1/5 the cost of replacing the fixture.

Exact Replacement
I purchased this to replace a failed one in a 10 year old kitchen light fixture. It is the same part number as the original but is a different color, I suspect it is just newer packaging. It does not come in a box, just a shrink wrap clear plastic. It probably comes in bulk packaging and then sold individually from there. The mounting tabs were slightly bent during shipping but were easily straightened. It fit where the old one was perfectly and works great. Please beware that all replacement ballasts just have bare ends on the wires. I used crimp on butt splices to connect the new ballast to the original wires on the sockets. Wire nuts could easily be used also since the wires are solid not stranded.

Easier and less cost to replace the 2 Ballast then to replace light fixture
Easy to order on Amazon and get exact part needed. This Ballast fixed the problem with my light. I ordered a second one since my fixture had 2 Ballast that were bad. You have to cut 8 wires to get old Ballast out and then reconnect these 8 wires to this new Ballast. All wires are color coded so this is easy to do. It was easier and less cost to replace the 2 Ballast in this light fixture then it would have been to replace entire light fixture.

Ballasts
I was skeptical at first when I ordered this. Most Ballasts are no longer available. This does the job very nicely. 2 tube, 4 foot light fixtures. Haven't tried it on an 8 foot 2 tube yet. But it should work. Ratings are the same.

Easy cheap fix
Worked great to fix my 14 year old fluorescent lights. My garage hasn’t been this well lit in years, so my ballasts must have been failing for longer than I imagined.

Works great
My kitchen light went out. I replaced the bulbs and it still didn't work, so I assumed it had to be the ballast. I removed the ballast and took it with me to Home Depot and Lowes, looking for a replacement. I asked the staff for help. They were clueless. I bought a replacement at Home Depot that was recommended by the staff. I took it home and installed it. It didn't work. So I returned it and bought this exact replacement from Amazon. Installed it and works perfectly. Save yourself the trouble and just get an exact replacement. The price was better on this item anyway.
