A lot of protein supplements have artificial sweeteners and other unhealthy ingredients, Garden of Life is organic, healthy, and has a good flavor; I hate the taste of peas (which extends to pea protein), but GoL mutes it enoughI don't notice it.

I wouldn't say it's delicious, but it is palatable. It gives me a surprising amount of energy, but it also makes me almost instantaneously starving after finishing my glass. That said - if you need protein and have tummy problems, this is definitely a good option!

Felt more energy with this than grain based products. ALso like the fact there are no synthetic vitamins added on. Did not like the taste, but not too hard to have with smoothie etc.

If I could give this product less than one star, I would. I cannot have dairy (or dairy derivatives), so I am used to strange and weird chocolate flavors. However, this smooth chocolate flavor is the most disgusting chocolate flavored anything I have ever tasted and is not "smooth" at all. It has an artificial flavor that is overwhelming and a horrible aftertaste, even when I blended the one scoop of powder (the recommended serving size) with almond milk, ice, and frozen fruit.I will be switching to Naturade Vegansmart All-in-one Nutritional Shake, Vanilla, 22.75 Ounce or Vega Protein Smoothie, Choc-a-lot, Pouch, 9.2 oz. My favorite is Vegansmart, but Vega Protein Smoothie is a good alternative with fewer calories. Choc-o-lot has the same amount of protein and fewer calories per scoop as Garden of Life. Vegansmart has more calories, but it also has vitamins and supplements. The extra vitamins and minerals added to Garden of Life's smooth chocolate product do not make up for the awful flavor. I took two sips of the drink and threw it in the trash. The flavor only got worse with the second sip and was still that disgusting.

this protein powder is definitely high quality and is great in smoothy's from a texture stand point. No gritty feel and blends very well. I found this product to have a strange artificial sweetener taste to it and in my in opinion way to sweet. I had no stomach upset from the ingredients and overall found this product good except for the overly sweet taste. If the maker would back off on the sweetness I would buy this product again and again. As for now I will only purchase this one bag.

This protein powder mixes well and tastes great!

I like this protein powder- I typically mix it in a smoothie I make in the morning along with some spinach, a banana, blueberries, and almonds. It does have a slight protein powder taste to it- but that's what it IS, so I can't complain. What I CAN say is that this powder does not last for even a month if used daily- the bag is pretty small- and it's not cheap! Though I can usually find a coupon and get it from my local health food store- it's just too pricey to drink daily.

I have a very strict diet so it’s sometimes hard to find things I can eat and drink. I found this protein powder years ago and have been using it since. I put it in coconut milk and then add frozen fruits that I love and it’s the most tasty protein shake. I really love it!
