Scotland is officially, according to a recent survey done by readers of 'Rough Guide', the 'most beautiful country in the world' and it got me wondering if any of the people that done the voting actually live here because, while I acknowledge that my home country is in fact beautiful (well... certain parts of it are), it's weather leaves a lot to be desired as tends to rain rather often.In fact, during my regular commute through Edinburgh to work every weekday, I have to walk from the tram stop up the Mound, along George IV bridge and eventually to George Square - almost a mile and it's possible on some days that I experience every single season during that 15 minute walk - and I've been wearing a horrible, clingy and sweaty waterproof jacket when it rains, and felt that it was probably about time that I bought myself an umbrella instead - so I decided to order one of these Superbison ones as it looked very cool.There's not usually a great deal to say about umbrellas I'd imagine, but this one does stand out from the crowd a bit. For starters, it comes with a cover which has a strap on it, which allows you to wear it a bit like a scabbard for a sword - which I find endlessly cool. From the outside, it looks like a bog standard black umbrella but upon opening it up you're treated to a bright yellow interior which is a wonderful surprise and I actually find to be very cool. There's a release/opening button on the soft padded handle too, so it's a very thoughtfully designed thing.To top all of this off, it feels like a very strong umbrella - not flimsy at all in the slightest so it should hopefully be able to withstand the strong winds that often accompany the rain. It's not too heavy either, so should be easy to carry around.All in all, I'm really pleased with this umbrella; it's a proper 'man sized' umbrella that looks awesome and should keep me wonderfully dry.

The umbrella is light weight very large and strong. It is very good value for money as so far from what I have experienced it is very resistant to the wind.This umbrella is an absolute beast, and having subjected it to the same stormy conditions I can thankfully report it showed no signs of even threatening to compromise its structure as it has double layer of fabric. It's a tad heavy, but the handle's got a fantastic grip so it's easy to keep hold of it. I like the rubber grip on the handle, even if some water gets to that area you still have a firm grip on it. I would definitely recommend this umbrella as initially I thought paying such a high price would be a risk but it definitely is worth the price for this umbrella!

This is a sturdy umbrella that has stood up well to some inclement weather. Surprisingly wide coverage that has rendered my wife's handbag brolly immaterial when we are together. Having an inside lining is a must. The eye catching colour is a bonus. Highly recommended.

Heavy to hold & large in width but extremely durable. Love the bright yellow & the fact that the cover has a handle!

Lovely umbrella, have only used once so far but seems very sturdy. I use umbrellas frequently, standing at the side of a football pitch watching my son play football, so they get a lot of use. The colour (I chose yellow) is great and it looks good in quality. Hopefully it will last longer than my last one that got savaged by the wind, so far it looks up to the task.

I love this umbrella. I have been stuck in the windy rain a few times now and this umbrella has withstood the wind. it held up to the gusts and did not blow back in on itself. there is nothing more frustrating than when an umbrella goes inside out. it's just never the same after that. this one is very deep and if you hold it close down over you, nothing gets wet. i like the turquoise colour in the inside it is very vibrant and cheerful. definitely a good buy if you want a bigger umbrella.

Strong umbrella with double fabric. Only downside it’s a little heavy as it’s got the extra fabric but stands up well to windy wet weather - far better than my last vented brolly that still blew out in a bad gust.
