The TMNT and Ghostbusters finally get to meet!
I am a huge TMNT fan and also have fond memories of both them and the Ghostbusters from my childhood, so when I found out that they were finally going to be crossed over curtesey of IDW, I knew I had to check this out. When the turtles test out their dimensional portal device, the construction of which was made possible by Prof. Honeycutt, an accident sends them and their human friends April O'Neil and Casey Jones, to an alternate version of NYC, which they are shocked to discover is infested with ghosts (especially Donnie who doesn't believe in that sort of thing). Unfortunately the turtles and their friends are not alone, a Chinese demi god named Chi-Yu has been mistakenly pulled there with them, freeing him from a thousand year imprisonment in a dimensional void and he immediately sets about taking over this version of New York, with plans for the rest of the multiverse as well. Thankfully, the Ghostbusters arrive at that very moment and the two teams decide to join forces, once all differences are set aside, to combat Chi-Yu and stop his evil plan. Oh yeah, there is one other problem, it seems that because the TMNT crew are out of sync with their dimension, they only have seventy two hours (i.e. three days) to return home before they fizzle out of existence forever. To make matters worse, Chi-Yu has Casey under his power and is one of the toughest foes the TMNT, and even the Ghostbusters, have ever fought. Will the heroes be able to get this apocalyptic mess sorted out or will all mortal dimensions be thrown into an era of darkness? The artwork here is awesome, resembling an animated mini movie, and the story line is pure genius. It was also really sweet to see these two casts that I have such nostalgia for finally getting to meet and interact, although I am aware that these are the IDW comics turtles rather than the ones that I grew up with but that is okay because I really got to like them. There are also nods to classic TMNT and Ghostbuster lore hidden in the backgrounds throughout as this is also, believe it or not, the thirtieth anniversary piece for both franchises (2014). Over all I would recommend this for fans of either franchise, or both, as it makes the perfect anniversary treat, especially for us older fans. Thumbs way up on this one, and Happy 30th Anniversary to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters!

Pretty Fun
Definitely liked the story. They did a good job on mixing the two styles of humor together while also doing a good job with pairing up pairs from each side too. The best was Donnie and Egon (saw that one coming a mile away) but the other great one was Leo and Winston. There was some good character between the two and they admired each other as the story progresses. Thought it was a good touch. Worth the read

Blast from the past that didn't disappoint
Growing up in the eighties, I watched both the Real Ghostbusters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons every afternoon for years- even my mum got into the Ghostbusters toon, as there were a lot of references only grown-ups would get. I saw this comic in the Kindle store, debated for about a week as to whether it would be worth the money, and finally went for it . . . I am glad I did- I wish it had been longer, but the dialogue was snappy and true to character, the illustrations were crisp, the proton beams glowed, and I laughed out loud at least six times over the half an hour it took to read this book. Keep it coming!

Turtles and Ghostbusters is a team up for the ages.
This team up is so much fun, and a dream come true for people who lived through the 80s! The story ties in a bit to the continuity to the TMNT series currently happening in IDW, I haven't read the Ghostbusters series so I don't know how much it ties in with that. I will say if you are not familiar with the series it still holds up really well. It works as a standalone tale. If you are a fan of either group, I'd recommend this one.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/ Ghostbusters
The teenage mutant ninja turtles get sent to a different New York with an evil demon. They run into the Ghostbusters and team up to stop him. The turtles are drawn great and the Busters look kinda kiddy, but it is a fun read and good story.

... TMNT comics and this is one of my absolute favorite books. The page spread art breaking up chapters ...
I have read almost 75% of all TMNT comics and this is one of my absolute favorite books. The page spread art breaking up chapters is quite charming. The author and artists really captured the essence of the turtles very well and it is just an overall enjoyable read the whole way through. The chemistry between the ghostbusters crew and the TMNT crew is worth picking up this book alone. Did I mention the art was AWESOME?!

Really good
I got this for my cousin. Has maybe 4 cuss words in it which I only mention because some parents are very strict. But it is not a big deal to me. Good story. Look forward to buying more.

Right place wrong dimension
A good crossover. More was done on the Ghostbuster side that the TMNT side, but I enjoyed it.The testing a new invention the TMNT end up on the right place but the wrong dimension meeting the Ghostbuster. However something else was unleashed with them.I liked the artwork and the story, the characters came together, I just would have like some more ninja fighting not just the ghostbusting. Then again the main bad guy was a ghost/spirit so it is understandable. Each chapter starts with 2 different covers of that issue, the cover gallery at the end had quarter page thumbnails of the variants.

Much better separately!
I was so excited when i saw this advertised on Amazon, and pre-ordered it way before the release date. I love the Turtles (maybe a little too much) and I've always enjoyed Ghostbusters, although my experience of the latter is restricted to just the films (and the 80s cartoon and figures of course) - I've never read any of their comics. The idea was something that made my brain hurt, in a good way - two awesome franchises coming together in a wonderfully random way!I was really disappointed with it. The story was really weak and all way too fluffy for my liking. The artwork's really nice but it couldn't really save such an empty plot. I have to admit, I didn't really know what to expect, and I definitely can't think of a better way to join these two groups together, so I can only come to the conclusion that they never should have tried! A real pity. They both still have a firm place in my heart, but definitely in completely separate compartments.

Bustin' makes me feel cowabunga!
Another superb story from the IDW team. After their ongoing story arc/run came to an end any chance of the same team stretching their GB muscles again was much anticipated and this does not disappoint with the added bonus of it being the whole "what if" theme with the TMNTs being pulled into the GB's New York. Superb pencil work, colour and writing as always. I really hope they do a vice versa GB's in the Turtle's New York story next and there 's the cartoon Real GBs meet IDW ongoing series GBs "Get Real" story to look forward to now too. Brilliant! Exactly what you expect and no more
I love both franchises but really couldn't get behind the cross over. I don't think they gel very well. The art was beautiful and the dialogue on par. Needed something more.
