I've tried most water flossers. The EW1511 is the one to buy because it has the fewest flaws. It's the only one that's quiet, doesn't have an awkward cord, and leaves you feeling clean. It also doesn't need to be refilled while flossing because it uses less water.This review is for the Panasonic EW1511 - the water flosser with the at-home charging baseComparisons:EW1511 vs Waterpik Plug-in CountertopThe countertop Waterpik provides a superior clean, but it's loud—like a garbage disposal—and messy, with water droplets all over the bathroom. If you have family at home, it will wake them up, which was a dealbreaker for me.EW1511 vs Waterpik PortableThe Waterpik cordless has about half the pressure of the countertop unit. It is portable, but it is a huge compromise that doesn't leave you feeling clean. I also needed to refill it to finish cleaning my mouth.

Exchanged this for a another flosser that was much lower in price. This is a case of you get what you pay for. Much more comfortable, easy to operate. I found the nozzle much easier to aim at the right place. The filler hole is larger and easier to fill. Switching nozzles is easy, charging is fast and so far anyway, dependable. Most of these products seem to have some reliability issues according to some negative reviews. I hope this one keeps working because we both really like it. Now that we have used it 4 times a day two people twice a day for about a 18 months I can say it is durable and works great. The last two dental cleans I have had the hygienist said “I am having trouble finding anything to clean “. Some have complained of a problem getting the water to start. A little shake will get it primed and pumping immediately. Highly recommend.

I have two cordless water flossers-this Panasonic and a Hangsun both bough on Amazon. I rate them both at 4 stars with the Hangsun slightly higher. Here's whyThe Panny holds 7 ounces of liquid and the Hangsun holds 10. I only need 4 ounces to floss so either works well that way. But that advantage goes to the Hangsun.Both put out good water pressure but the Hangsun puts out a slightly harder water stream. Both will go through 7 ounces of water in about a minute with the Panny getting an extra few seconds. Advantage to HangsunThe reservoir in the Hangsun is removable and easily rinsed. The Pannys reservoir is internal to the unit and cannot be removed. The bottom of the Panny is removable so you can still rinse it out. Advantage HangsunQuality of construction and fit and finish are good on both units with the Panny being slightly more refined. Advantage PanasonicThe Pañny has a charger base that the unit sits on to charge. The Hangsun has a USB wall charger with cable and a protective plug cover that can easily get lost. Advantage PanasonicThe Pañny is smaller and easier to handle for small hands but not by much. Both can be handled comfortably by adults. Advantage neither.The Hangsun is under $40 while the Panny is $85 or so. In addition the Hangsun comes with extra tips and the Panny only comes with one other jet tip. Advantage Hangsun.Overall the Hangsun gets the gold medal here. If you want a smaller version of it there is the Smile Direct handheld flosser sold here with the 5oz reservoir which is otherwise identical to the Hangsun.There are also other units under different names that look like the Hangsun and probably perform just like it. They even come in different colors!Either flosser will get the job done well. Decide based on price, added accessories, fluid capacity, and convenience.Both are quite good

As of Aug 2022: I took it apart and changed the rechargeable battery. Looks like new again!Came across this Panasonic on Amazon and it looks like Amazon is the only seller of this water flosser (as of Dec 2019). This is my first purchase of a water flosser and indeed I think I made the right choice.Some specs:1) Height of the flosser body (without the removable tip): 8"2) Max width of the flosser body: 3"3) Weight of the flosser body: 9 ozFeel of the body is "well made". It has a cover at the bottom (you can take it out) and there is another hole to fill the flosser with water. There is no separate reservoir - The body itself is the reservoir + the battery. Water power ranges from level 1 to 5 (the highest). There is a separate charger to charge the flosser. Panasonic provides 2 tips in the package. The battery lasts about 10 times and each session is about 1 min. If you want to floss more than 1 min you need to refill it with water. The charging time to full power is about an hour. Voltage is 100-240V.I love this flosser. Why?1) Light weight and easy to carry2) Each session lasts 1 min, which is longer than most other portable models3) No mold issue so far. At the end of each session, just take out the bottom cover and drain all remaining water. Remove the tip as well. Then place the flosser body horizontally to air dry4) Water power at level 5 is quite strong. I can see all the food scraps falling down to the drain from my mouth and my teeth feel very clean afterwards5) Charging time is fastSo far no complaints at all! It is more expensive than other models, but it's worth every penny.

I have been doing research for a reliable good water flosser after trying and looking actively among different brands, finally I found Panasonic as reliable, string and powerful water flosser which made me satisfied.When I write this review it's been 3 months of using it with no issues at all.Very good for charging, two cleaning tips as well as many different modes (water intensity)I recommend it among all the other brands.

I've been looking for a portable water flosser for a very long time. There are so many models on the market and it was very difficult to decide which one will be the best option for me in terms of quality and price. And I really believe I managed to choose the best one. I am very happy with the results after using it. The battery lasts long. I use it several times before I have to charge it again. There are 5 levels of water pressure but the water jet on level 4 is already strong enough to perform a good cleaning of my mouth. I strongly recommend this product.
