Best tool in your shop…hands down
Best tool for sure…just make sure you use metal spiral pipe and have the proper configuration and connection to your tools for maximum CFM.

Very Powerful, Solid Machine!
First off, do not trust Amazon's scheduled delivery date, expect this to arrive 3-5 days after your scheduled date. The inside of my package was trashed, it almost looked like a used return unit but going through the assembly I found that was not the case. There are some blemishes and dings, but nothing large enough to deal with the hassle of sending it back.I am mechanically inclined, so assembly was easy using the video online from Laguna. I did not open the instruction manual once. From start to finish the process took me a little over 3 hours. This thing is a solid beast, on the start up the ground in my shop literally trembles. Plenty of suction power (did not measure) and tons of static pressure even with a 50ft flex hose direct to the machine. It is loud, hearing protection when using this is a must!

Haven't gotten it to work
This is a heavy piece of industrial equipment, with very nice fit and finish. Unfortunately, the circuitry requires 220 VAC, and my house is 240 VAC (actually 118 VAC per leg measured.) The control circuitry won't work with mine. Laguna customer service is sending me a replacement board N/C, but it won't get here until the end of the month. Until then, I'll just have to wait and guess. The size is perfect for the home shop -- it fits under a standard garage door. But it is still large. You also really need another strong body to put this thing together. The videos on the Internet are super-helpful. The instructions? Not so much. Also, assembly of the dust collection can really requires a friend. They don't give metal screws to put this thing together -- the updated version requires regular small bolts with hex caps. The depth of the catch can maxed my ability to reach down and fasten these. I'm still recovering from the trauma.I expect this to meet my dust collection needs for basically the rest of my life. I'll update this review when I get there and get this running.
