Simple and efficient--no distractions.
This timer is a hit with the kids. They are able to stay focused at a glance. Works well, the alarm isn't obnoxious. We homeschool, this helps keeps the kiddos (16, 6, 3) focused towards their next break. It even keeps me on time. I speed clean with this and have been more productive since it's been here.My phone timer ends up a distraction. Our cube timer doesn't tell us how much time is left at a glance. This one is my new favorite. I would get a different color for every kid if I could.

Great for homework/class transitions
My 5yr old with a speech delay also has a hard time staying focused and understanding and abstract concept like time. He’s in his own world at school and doesn’t transition from one activity to the next well (or at least on a timeline the school expects). He’s competitive, so I thought if he sees his time remaining, he will try to finish his homework pages before the time runs out, teaching him he has to move on when time runs out (like in class). Sure enough, IT WORKED. He can set his own time, and it keeps him on track. It has helped with homework so much, and he is doing better with transitions in class.

Good while it lasts
Kids enjoyed the animals and visually being able to see how much time they had left with an activity. Only issue I have is that the batteries need to be replaced and now the timer won’t work. It works for a few minutes then stops. We have tried multiple different batteries with the same result. You can hear the timer working but the red bar doesn’t move. We purchased our in March 2021 and this was the first time the battery needed to be replaced. It sure what happened.

It works, but terrifies my kid.
Perhaps I didn't introduce him to it properly, or perhaps it is the red color of the countdown, but this timer strikes fear into the heart of my child, but at the same time gets him to do what I need him to do.I got the timer to provide a visual aid when discussing the passage of time during certain tasks. (Eating a grilled cheese sandwich should not take 1 hour, getting dressed should not take 30 minutes, brushing teeth should take less then 10 minutes, picking up should be quick so we can get back to the fun stuff). My son is 3.5 yes old and intensly pushing boundaries in every situation. Trying to work from home with a cooped up kiddo has been challenging. I wanted to show him that if he spends less time on certain tasks we have more time to play. I use the timer for myself as well so I don't get lost in work and he knows that I am trying to get the less that fun parts of the day done quickly too. Despite lots of positive reinforcement, he is terrified when the timer is set for him, making him go into a panic even when he has a full hour to do a 10 minute task. I am going to back off a bit and try to reintroduce in a few weeks. Will update if things go better next time.

Great Visual Timer
The 3in Countdown Clock is a great way to help kids keep track of passing time. We use the timer when working on schoolwork or for a quick clean up around the house. The red part moves back into the 12 helping you see the passage of time. The clock is small, which makes it easy to move around, but also means I need to set it right on the table with the kids. The animals featured on the timer make it fun and are perfect for my pre-readers. Overall this has been a great addition to our homeschool room.

It helps with those of us who need a visual cue.
This is what keeps our family on schedule for school and any other time we have to get somewhere. My kids are 8, 6 and 3 and some of us struggle with time management so this has helped keep us all on track. I set it 10 minutes less than when we really need to leave because it takes 10 minutes to get out the door and into the car that way when the timer goes off we are ready to go.Easy to use. I love that it is silent as it counts down so it would be really useful for those who need it to track time studying but who also can't have the distraction.

This has been a game changer and a blessing
I bought this to help my son manage his time and his behaviors I'm able to tell him which animal to put it on and he understands as we are still learning numbers and letters. I love that my child now has a visual as to how fast the amount of time I give him goes by and it has helped him eat dinner and lunch and do his chores and a timely manner I have seen a huge difference in his time management skills and that is an important thing to learn an important lesson to incorporate for the rest of his life even though he is only four.
