Long-Lasting and Reliable Camera Batteries
I’ve tried several third-party camera batteries, and these Wasabi Power batteries are by far the best. They hold a charge well, lasting as long as or even longer than OEM Nikon batteries. The charger works quickly, and the convenience of having a two-pack means I always have a spare ready to go. Compared to other off-brand batteries that die quickly, these have great longevity and are an excellent value for photographers.

Take the long view
I own a Nikon D90 camera that may be a little long in the tooth, but I still like it. I don’t see what the rush to mirrorless cameras is all about, but there you have it. When I first got the camera, I purchased two OEM batteries from Nikon, and they’ve been very reliable over the years. But time and use have their own affect on everything, and those batteries were no exception. When one of them rolled a seven, I figured the other one was in line for the same, so I started looking around for some new batteries on good ol’ Amazon.I was a little startled by the asking price for OEM Nikon batteries. They hovered around the $50 mark...just for one. After recovering, I decided to take the plunge into the secondary market. After looking around, I purchased a Wasabi Power Li-Ion battery kit. Wasabi has a pretty good reputation, and the kit I ordered came with two batteries, a charger, and an adapter cable for the car.Hard to pass that up.So far, I am very happy with my choice. The batteries are indistinguishable from the Nikon ones, save for the branding, and the fit and finish tell me this was a good choice. In use, the batteries seem to be up to snuff, and so far, my camera likes them as much as I do. As with everything, time will tell, but I expect these particular batteries will have the same useful lifetime as the originals, and for less than half the price of the Nikons'.Good product, good support. Good gravy! $50?

batteries are good, charger did not work
Batteries are good, charger that came with set did not work. I put the batteries in the original charger for my camera and they charged up just fine. Need a replacement charger

Does the job
Works great. Charged the original Canon battery as well as the new batteries. Charges a little slower than original Canon charger which was lost in a move, but it does the job. So far so good.

100% satisfactory
Purchased two batteries & charger mid-December 2012. The batteries have been in constant use in a D700 (body & battery grip) and a D70s. That body is still in use cause it syncs flash at all shutter speeds - useful for flash fill in sunlight. The Wasabi batteries have been 100% compatible and seem to live up to their 2000 MAh rating. The Nikon brand EN-EL3e is rated at 1500MAh and my Wasabi batteries show more capacity left after equivalent use. Granted, the OEM batteries are older, but they still show 100% capacity and zero depletion on the in-camera 'Charging Life' display.I also like the Wasabi charger wth its fold out AC plug (stores flush for carry) and an included 12V auto adapter. The Nikon brand MH-25 charger for the newer EN-EL15 batteries (D800 / 7100 / 7000 / 600 etc.) provides an AC plug that interchanges with the standard power cord but still lacks any provision for 12V power, which is handy for recharging or topping off during location shoots. The Wasabi chargers (for at least EN-EL3e and EN-EL15) are the same design. I suspect that where possible the same is true of their other chargers. This is good design and cost effective manufacturing.I did have to contact Blue Nook recently about a minor issue with an earlier purchase of EN-EL15 batteries (D7000 / 7100 etc). It was handled quickly and professionally. NikonUSA could take lessons from these folks in standing behind their product and resolving issues quickly. The result is that I'll buy from Blue Nook again and continue to recommend them to others. The batteries I've purchased so far have been at least equivalent to the Nikon OEM or Blue Nook has quickly resolved an issue (which didn't prevent the use of their EN-EL15 version). At $10 less than the current Amazon price for one OEM battery, Blue Nook sells two EN-EL3e 100% compatible batteries of at least equal capacity with a charger and they stand behind their products. I suspect that the OEM battery is manufactured by someone else to Nikon's specifications. When an equivalent or better alternative from a responsible aftermarket seller sells for less, what's not to like?
