These work very well
We had a lot of gnats and fruit flues this summer. I bought some of the little sticky papers shaped like flowers and was sticking those all around, but they weren't working very well. These are hung on a window, where flies are attracted to the light and inevitably end up in the sticky insert. I like that the bugs that have met their doom are hidden from view and not hanging all out in the open. I will buy refills for these!

Disappointing Performance: Dr. Killigan's The Fly Inn
I recently purchased Dr. Killigan's The Fly Inn in hopes of effectively dealing with fly infestations. However, I must express my disappointment with this product. Despite its visually appealing design and discreet appearance, it failed to deliver the expected results. Allow me to elaborate on my experience with this fly trap. At first glance, Dr. Killigan's The Fly Inn appears aesthetically pleasing and inconspicuous, making it suitable for placement in various areas, including the kitchen. I appreciate the effort put into its design to ensure it doesn't look like a typical, unsightly fly trap. Regrettably, the main issue lies in the product's effectiveness. Despite diligently following the provided instructions, the fly trap failed to perform satisfactorily. I found that it caught an abysmal number of flies, with fewer than five flies caught in either trap. Considering the purpose of a fly trap is to attract and capture flies, this level of ineffectiveness is highly disappointing. It's crucial to have a reliable and efficient solution for managing fly infestations, and unfortunately, Dr. Killigan's The Fly Inn falls short in this regard. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product to others seeking an effective fly trap solution. While its appealing appearance and lack of obviousness may be appealing, its performance leaves much to be desired. Pros: Visually appealing design Discreet appearance suitable for various areas Cons: Ineffective in capturing flies Caught less than five flies in either trap Overall disappointing performance In conclusion, my experience with Dr. Killigan's The Fly Inn was highly unsatisfactory. Despite its visually appealing design and inconspicuous appearance, the product's inability to effectively capture flies renders it ineffective. I would advise exploring alternative options for addressing fly infestations. Wishing you success in finding a more reliable fly trap solution.

THE DARN THINGS WORK!
I feed feral cats outside so the food attracts every fly in the neighborhood and those pesky flies always find a way into my house! I initially ordered this not realizing I was ordering just the refills and not the holder. I improvised and taped the sticky cards to my windows and outside my doors. THE DARN THINGS WORKED! Within a day the sticky cards were covered in dead flies! I did go ahead and order the holder, looks a lot nicer than seeing the sticky card covered in dead flies! It sticks to the window with suction cups. It is discreet, easy to fill and refill, and you hardly notice it there. Now I have plenty of refills so this should get me through the summer of flies! Will definitely buy more next summer!

Discreet and effective
This trap eliminated the annoying flies that were bothering me. It catches a ton of bugs, looks well in my window, and is simple to set up. Although it can be challenging to insert the adhesive paper, it functions better than any fly ribbon I've ever used. Fantastic product!

Takes a while to start working
Not great, but suitable for the job. This thing won't magically suck flies out of your house if that's what you're looking for. Put this in one window near our dogs' feeding and watering area. Didn't catch any flies or bugs for about a week. Bug catching seems to be ramping up now. I do like the way it hides the dead critters.

EXCELLENT & EFFECTIVE product!
Third year using these. Our house is IMMACULATE but for some reason, every summer....we have a week where the flies inside are an epidemic level. Disgusting! We have these on various windows and pretty much overnight....we wake up to them full of flies. No smell. Easy to install, easy to remove. You can hear them trying to get off the tape with zero success on their part, super sticky! And they don't look gross like the hanging fly tape. This is a 10 out of 10 product!

Fussy and ineffective
The product is supposed to work like this: Its suction cups stick to a window where most flies supposedly go to hang out with their buds. Then they "fly in" (cute!) and get trapped by the sticky paper you slip inside the plastic housing (Fly Inn; cute!) For those squeamish about dead flies, it does indeed hide their hideous bodies. There's only one catch. For it to work, the flies have to fly in. If you were a fly, would you enter a dark narrow chamber when you could be zooming around the kitchen in the bright light? It's been up for days and so far only one fly has had the curiosity to see what was going on behind the plastic facade. I have, on the other hand, had the pleasure of swatting, bamming, mashing, and otherwise killing -- oh, let's be modest, but many many many many times the number of flies who have taken up residence in the (cute!) I don't know what kind of a doctor Dr. Killigan purports to be, but beware experts with fancy degrees and fancy titles. Try Dr. Menace's Old Fashioned Plastic Fly Demolisher.

IT WORKS!
Let me preface this with the fact that I utterly despise flies - especially in my kitchen. I cannot even cook if there's one fly in my kitchen. I can't eat if there's a fly in the dining room. We have a farm. There are inevitably a lot of flies. Tell me who wants to deal with those annoying sticky ugly yellow strips in a place where you're dealing with food!! I installed two of these side by side on the window I see the flies spending the most time on. I think that's important: to observe their behavior first. Starting with a very clean window, and then applying water to the suction cups; I had good suction. At the start, one side was giving me trouble. I cleaned with a Windex-style solution and it was fixed. The surface must be totally clean for suction. On one window I placed a trap on the bottom of the pane, and on the other side of the window, I placed the trap at the top. I feel that two on one window works really well for me. My husband will have to clean these for me because it turns my stomach but I finally found a solution to our fly problem that actually works!
