Perfectly adequate bar tape
To be clear- this "Set of 2" includes enough handlebar tape to wrap one handlebar. It is two pieces, one for the left side and one for the right side.It is very basic bar tape. It is called EVA foam, but think of it as synthetic cork. It's strong enough to take a bit of tension, which is good if you like to stretch your bar tape when wrapping. It's long enough for a standard wrapping style. The bar end plugs aren't fancy but they work. I usually just use electrical tape to finish the ends but the included tape will work. They do not include a tiny filler piece to go by your shift levers, so cut a three inch piece for yourself if you are concerned about having no gaps around your levers- the tape is long enough that it can handle losing three inches of the end. There is a sticky backing layer on the back- not really my thing but some people may appreciate it.This is good affordable bar tape for anyone that wraps their handlebars frequently. You won't break the bank with it and it works fine. It's not premium $40 tape, but I think that clean regular tape looks better than someone trying to make their expensive tape last for years.

Love the color and lushness of this tape!
I'm giving it 4 stars o ly for the fact it tears easily while installing. I do LOVE the color as I wanted a more bright aqua/teal/turquoise color with less green and NOT pastel..but I am not sure how it is going to hold up since the part where I put handlebar cap tore while installing and when I pulled a few places back to reposition it tore off...thankfully I could cover those areas up and it is not noticeable but I love it is thick and cushiony. I have only ridden 1x with the new tape but again- color is great and thickness seems great!! I would still buy again as the lushness and color is exactly what I wanted!

Great feel and quality, The red color pops!
Long enough to wrap all the way to the end and it looks really nice on my white and black bike. Very happy with the tape; fair price. Removed the old black ones and replaced with the new ones in under 10 minutes.

Worked for me
Review by Quilt Lady’s hubby;Bought a used Trek Emonda SLR and the bar tape was a bit grungy so I thought I’d jazz it up a bit with some new tape. Went with the red since there’s red in the lettering on the frame. This is a bit brighter than that red, but it’s OK. This was the first time I’ve done bar tape and didn’t want to mess it up. Removed the old tape carefully so I could see how it was wrapped around the levers, that and watched a couple of YouTube videos. The tape went on fairly easily, any mistakes were mine which included not leaving quite enough overlap at the bar ends for the plugs to grab. Had to completely remove all the tape and start again. The adhesive backing isn’t super strong so I was able to remove and reinstall the tape without any issues. I got turned around at the levers once or twice though. All in all the tape looks good. Didn’t care much for the black finishing tape. Not long enough in my opinion. I used a quality black electrical tape instead. Time will tell how well it holds up. I’ll update my review if there are any significant changes.

Would buy again
I'm slowly "restoring" an old bike from the 70s. Handlebars much needed an upgrade. Due to the old nature of these handlebars, it wasn't exactly like installing ones for a newer bicycle, and was actually quite a pain. That being said, I still gave the product 5 stars for "easy to install" because given the handlebars/brake levers that I'm dealing with, the product itself was easy. Even still, I wouldn't wish this task on my worst enemy.Though I only added this tape a couple days ago, so far, the adhesion is great and the comfort is worlds better than the original handlebar coverings/no coverings.A tip of installation that I don't think was outright clear: You will do better to leave just under an inch of material part the end of the handlebars (after trimming) as opposed to anything too shortOverall 5 stars, and at this time, if I ever need to purchase handlebar tape again, would likely go with this brand.

Excellent handlebar tape. Marginal finishing tape.
Replaced my stock Cervelo R2 tape. I got the red. It is true to the picture color. The handlebar tape itself went on easily and seemed robust during installation. I love the feel on the handlebars. Much better than stock. After a few months however, the finishing black tape that holds the handlebar tape at the free end began to come unstuck. I don't know if there is anything that could have been done to stop this. Everything was clean when installed. I'll have to supplement the install with additional finishing tape.

Quick fix, great product
I found a bike someone was offering free for my 3 years old granddaughter when she visits. It was in good condition except the handlebars were pitted and rusty. I thought about sanding them and repainting them, but it seemed like a lot of work for a bike she would ride occasionally for maybe 2 years. Instead, I ordered this tape and wrapped them. That was a great decision! It took me about 10 minutes, made the bike look new and added a little padding/grip to the handlebar. She loved it! It was very easy to do. The tape grips and adheres nicely.

Repeat Customer here
Used this tape on my last bike, and as soon as I ordered bullhorns for my new bike the next thing I did was come back and order more of this tape. You get plenty to do your bars, comes with bar end caps too. If the end cap is loose, just take a little extra tape and wrap it around the bar end insert to sung it up. Comfort is great, adhesion is great. When I tucked it into the bar end cap there is a little immediate sign of wear at the bend but nothing major. I am a repeat customer and will be back if I need more tape. Colors seem true to the pictures.

"OK" product
Certainly, I've experienced the same as many other purchasers... The backing "Gel" sticky portion would pull right off the bar tape when attempting to remove the white protective backing.I literally had to use an Exacto knife and tweezers to separate them initially. Then when peeling the backing, if it was not done in a 180-degree pull, the sticky tape would pull off the bar tape.As to length, these were NOT long enough for my 40cm bars as seen in my 2 attached pictures. So for bar tape that costed me a mear $13.33 on 02/26/2021, their statement of "Long-lasting / Grippy feel" is to be seen once the summer sun and a few sweat sessions are put on these being they are just made of basic foam.

Perfect!
This is exactly the shade of yellow I was looking for to match my bike - these are perfect! The bar tape felt pretty comfortable and easy to wrap, and the finishing tape is very forgiving and resulted in a very professional finish for a newbie like me. 100% recommend, I’ll be buying another set as a spare.

Awesome, works really well
Replaced my handle bar tape with so much ease. Length is just right, that being said, they should probably make it at least 6" longer for both. Material is really nice, soft and the black one which i got is just beautiful as it is really jetblack. Very stylish. Also it is quite thick so its nice to grip. I would definitely recomment this! Forget about setting appointments at bikeshops for handlebar tape replacement that costs 40 dollars and above. Do yourself a favor, do it yourself. Spend that money on other stuff for your bike.

Used for Exercise bike handlebars and works great.
Used the wrap to give a little extra grip to my exercise bike handlebars as I am very sweaty. Worked great, easy to apply and still holding up after about a couple of months or so. Plenty left to redo whenever I may need to.

Soft touch
Looks fine. Did not installed because I was looking for a "rubberized grippy feel". These are soft touch. But the price is great. If your looking for soft, confortable tape, these are probably fine.
