From the New York Times bestselling authors Esther and Jerry Hicks, Sara, Book 1 explores Law of Attraction in a new way. Sara is for any child, adult, or teen pursuing joy and meaning . . . and searching for answers about life, death, and the desires of the heart. It’s filled with techniques and processes for making one’s dreams come true . . . especially yours! The Foreverness of Friends of a Feather both entertains and informs as it flows to you – as per your state of attraction – through the Universal thought translation process of Esther and her word processor. Streams of impeccable wisdom and unconditional love – gently taught by Sara’s very entertaining feathered mentor – blend with the currents of Sara’s enlightening experiences with her family, peers, neighbors, and teachers to lift you to a new awareness of your natural state of well-being, and of your knowing that all is really well. Review: Fantastic surprise. - Esther and Jerry Hicks, and the Abraham counsel, I salute you all. I was worried this might turn into a thinly-veiled attempt to basically brainwash kids through a story, perhaps poorly written. I am pleased to inform you that it is nothing of the sort. While it certainly does have an agenda, it never comes across as propaganda by any means. It also happens to be exceedingly well-written. I was brought back to simpler times (which is good and which is where we all belong) and to a sense of wonder that I often sadly lack in my "adulthood". The images painted in these pages are good ones, well-conceived, and powerful, reminding me even of C.S. Lewis, or Lewis Carole for that matter, and that is no doubt the highest praise (depending upon whom you ask and how they feel about either Lewis!). I myself learned from this little book to the point where I immediately purchased the second and made plans to re-read this one. There is no greater gift than to teach these attitudes to children. I can't even imagine growing up with such thoughts. It would be incredible, the antidote to the poison we drink with such eagerness. If you're buying this for a kid, check it out with their parents first. Have their parents read it. I can all but guarantee they'll enjoy it, and they'll be exposed (pretty seamlessly) to some astonishing ideas and concepts, where as if it was given to a child without parental consent, they might be suspicious (and would have every right to be). I can't imagine them denying it to their child, though, after experiencing it for themselves. And if you are the parent, read it yourself first and make the decision on your own, regardless of what we say. Also, I should note this is a book written so most all ages could enjoy it; it is not, per se, a "children's" book. The second book in the (as of now) trilogy is honestly even better. Esther turns out to be quite a storyteller! She could easily make a living with storytelling as her primary occupation. She is much more than just a "tool" for Abraham. Well done, my dear friend. We hear so much from Abraham (and gratefully so) that we neglect to realize what an amazing, talented and incredibly beautiful person Esther herself is (and let's not leave Jerry out, so content most of the time to ride gleefully in the backseat, Abraham driving, Esther taking shotgun). This is a fictional book, but Solomon's lessons are not fictional at all, and that gives me a greater joy than I could ever convey with words, and it truly takes me back to a time, before I had been inundated with society's norms, when that kind of joy and wonder came to me excessively easily. Just writing this review and reflecting upon my thoughts, I am brought nearly to tears. Don't lose that joy, and don't let anyone take it from your kids. And for God's sake, don't take it from your kids yourself, something adults continuously do unconsciously and with the utmost well-meaning (I know I do this myself, but we can learn to stop as soon as we realize that "All is truly well"). Please give this book a chance. It is, as of yet, something of a secret. Humanity deserves for this secret to be spread. And speaking of "The Secret," there is a reason that became "pop" and this did not, the reason being this is the real stuff. This is the real secret, and it is a secret to be shouted from the rooftop. Esther, thank you so much, from all of us. Review: GREAT! I read a book a day for three days straight! - I am sooo sad that there aren't more books in the series. I bought this book to read to see if I could send it to my nieces. I learned so much from this series. I think this is a great book for adults because you can really see how to APPLY the law of attraction info to real life problems (although they are kid problems you still get the picture). I passed on these books to my mom and she is reading them back-to-back as well. She is very impressed with the information in them. She is Christian and sometimes gets a little hung up on the fact that I usually say the Universe instead of God, but still she read this book and knew that everything in it is true. They are so great and full of info that I know I will reread them. The following is from book 2 (I haven't typed up my notes from the other books yet) "Expect your lives to be predictably wonderful as you continually explore new experiences. This is a wonderful life you’re living, my friends." p 184 "You cannot get to a happy ending on an unhappy journey. Worry and well-being our opposite vibrations; well-being cannot come when you are in the feeling place of worry." p. 214 "It’s amazing how much pleasure you can get by just remembering the same happy moment over and over again." p. 217 "I realize that it is always easier to stay connected to the Stream under good conditions, but the most masterful creators remain connected to the stream, no matter what. That’s what makes them masterful creators. You see, kids, there are Fair-weather creators and all-weather creators. It’s easy to be a fair-weather creator, being happy when everything is just the way you like it, but when you are able to hold your vibration and feel good under all conditions– That is when you’re true creative ability shows. And besides, your vision and the law of attraction have brought you such a long way already! I wouldn’t give up the vision too soon." p 226 "I would take note of how powerful you are, and how the Universe lined up a sequence of perfect circumstances and events to assist you– and then I would take note that this stream of circumstances and events never ends. Good things will be eternally flowing to you. Keep an eye out for evidence of that. You see, at one time, before so many wonderful things had happened, you had to make them up in your mind. But now you have the benefit of being able to remember those things while you continue to make more good things up in your mind. That’s why it gets easier and easier. Have fun with all of this." p 228.

this is a fantastic book
I really needed this book at this time in my life. I have had it in my kindle library for so so long years actually and never read it. I always try to be positive and see the world as the special that it is, but I lost my husband just 4 months ago, and my world was turned upside down. His family were of no support at all. I was grateful I had my two boys my grandchildren and my brother and sister and my dear friends. This little book has made me look at my life and has made me remember that I am only in control of my own happiness, I have found my strength again to look and feel the joy of all the precious things in this world. I may slip at times but because of this book i will stay more vigilant that my valve is open to the stream of well-being and happiness. Thank you .

Beautiful lesson in a fun story!
I loved the book! My sister bought the series for her granddaughter (2 1/2) but soon realized it was above her level of comprehension so she decided to read it herself. She loved it and recommended it to me. This first book in the series starts with Sara, 10 years old, but to me she seems more like 12 or 13 though it doesn't really affect the story. What a wonderful, colorful and fun way to expose all of us to the Law of Attraction. The story is well written, moves right along and teaches in such a simple way that I cannot believe anyone would not "get it" if that is what they desire. The use of every day circumstances make the lessons easy to understand and reproduce in your own life. I am going to purchase the series for m 14 year old granddaughter. I hope you all enjoy as much as I have. (I'm currently working on the second book in the series!).

Wonderful Story, Wonderful Lesson
I’ve been looking around at LOA books that give varying rules telling you to maintain joy to attract what you want, but giving very little information as to how or why. The way this book relates that information is the way all books should teach it the concepts build and form not only a great story, but deliver the reader to a wonderful perspective shift. I feel like this would also be a great asset to an older child who is having trouble with the pressures of the world. I’m definitely going to save this for my daughter. However, I’m an adult and feel like I gained a lot from this book. Highly recommended!

Life guide for all ages
A incredible guide to life in story format. Great for kids, parents, grandparents and individuals from 6 years and up. My kids and I re-read it together every year or two. My mum read it twice in a row so she could make notes the second time.

Kindle
