I read some of the reviews before I bought these that mentioned these were difficult to pair/set up and that the instructions were not very good. I personally did not find this. The instructions that come in the box are pretty basic but the set up of these plugs is also pretty basic and so I found the instructions to be good enough. I paired the plug within a couple of minutes with absolutely no issues at all. Installed the app on my phone and followed the instructions, no issue. Usually I ask my hubby to complete all such technical tasks but I managed this on my own without any assistance. These plugs work seamlessly with Alexa and are absolutely brilliant value for money. I will be buying more and I highly recommend purchasing these over more expensive alternatives.

OK I have to admit to having a love/hate relationship with technology as these were on the way I found myself asking why do I need these? Last night I got my answer first of all they were easy to set up second I went out to party 🎉 became back a bit tenderly drunk early or late fell into bed and realised I left the lamp on in the living room, remembered the plug and with a touch of a screen 😴 peace but on a serious note I am ♿ so I am loving technology for the days that I (through no fault of my own) can't turn on/off the lights or answer the door and all the things I'm still learning about

Ok this is the 4th brand of WiFi controlled plug socket I own and looks and size is what first attracted to me the smallest I have so far seen just about double the depth of a standard plug but not much bigger in other ways however you still cannot put two next to each other in a four way socket extension lead but another plug you can asseticaly it's a nice design and almost goes unnoticed in a socket, that said however it's WiFi range let it down when placed against another similar plug I have in the garden so had to swap them over in the house where the WiFi is stronger it works just fine.

Good quality pair of smart plugs "which Are compatible with 5 Ghz wifi networks" despite stating they will only work on a 2.4 Ghz.I was unable to get in to my router settings to change it from dual band " 5 Ghz + 2.4 Ghz" to just 2.4 Ghz & had actually started the return process with Amazon.I tried one last time to connect via the smart life app & chose "plug other" & a notification came up that stated my Wi-Fi was 5 Ghz & did I wish to change it to 2.4 Ghz or connect anyway, I chose to connect anyway & both plugs have now paired & are working without issue.

Bought a set of two, one turned out fault and they promptly replace it. The replacement is worst than the first fault one and is impossible to connect, and when eventually does blinks constantly and it gets disconnected. Not worth it AT ALL! Update: the replacement sent did not work and now the third one left working is broken.

First of all, what a good price for the value of items you're getting, 2 smart plugs for around a tenner each. And they work great, just install the smart life app and add them there, really simple set up and then it just works. Perfect for placing them to places where appliances are hard to reach in order to turn them off, just tell alexa to turn them off or just switch them off from your phone. Brilliant! Good value for money.

So I ordered these so I could alleviate having to climb over my bed to turn my lights on. I have not been able to install these as they are not being found via the smart life app. The app then tells me to reduce the GHz of my WiFi router, but I don’t feel comfortable doing that so I had to send it back.

I have a few smart plugs from different random brands now, as well as some TP-Link ones.All these cheap ones use the same peice of software, Smart Life, to date I have not had one cause issues for me, they all pair up immediately and the app itself is well designed, functional and has all the same features as TP-Link Kasa does.These work out at the same price as TP-Link Kasa but you get 2 plugs instead of one, bargain.
