Put these in my sons tree house, he LOVES them! Work great, no issues and held up by tacs on the inside and used a bracket om the roof to secure the solar panel.

Good quality on solar charging that last more than 4 hours even on cloudy weather. Love the star shade and the length. Wish it has remote control.

My only complaint is that it needs more options. It has on steady or one mode of flashing.

We now have four different strings of these solar-powered lights, all different, yet, all the same, as they use common electronic circuitry. I can open the unit's case, and, remove the battery and insert it in my NIMH charger... especially useful when I want the lights to work after, dark, stormy periods.

I wrapped the star solar light string around an inverted tomato cage to make a Christmas tree in front of the house. From the very first night, the lights stayed on from sunset to dawn with colors richer than the photo shows them to be. Very happy -- and I hope anyone who sees my little "tree" glowing in wee hours of the night will smile, too.
