Osmo Pocket Gimbal Lock, Lens and Screen Protective Cover for DJI Osmo Pocket Gimbal

I bought this protective piece for the Osmo Pocket so I don’t have to deal with the hassle of the bigger protective housing that comes with the Osmo Pocket. The material is stiff enough to protect the camera and helps avoid it moving too much. It is nice and tight around the neck of the gimbal, and it does come with a protective cloth material to protect where it will frequently clip to the neck as well as the bonus screen protection. So not only does it protect the camera but also the screen.This is good if you don’t like using the bulky protective housing. However, the amount of time to unhook this piece compared to using the original Osmo housing is about the same.

Covers the lens and screen. Only issue is that it is an extremely tight fit. When removing it, the force needed makes you feel like you are going to break the gimbal. This causes you to use both hands and take care when removing so there will be no quick off in case you want to record something.That being said it works great and does what it is supposed to, I am now able to use my scroll wheel and ditch the original carrying case for this.

Recently took a 12 country in 14 days trip. Unfortunately, the little DJI Osmo aka the Goat fell in the Louvre and it didn't work for the remainder of the trip. Once it got repaired with the warranty, we purchased this cover which seems to hold up in pockets, purses, and jackets without undue damage to the servo. It does leave scratches and doesn't quite fit in the carrying case nor the full case. In the end, this gives me some peace of mind going forward.

It does what it is intended to do. Not the best. cant say it would be the worst. Feels a little cheap and generic even though it is custom made just for the osmo pocket.

This material is not high quality and it does not sit totally firm on the Osmo Pocket.

After five applications and removals it lost its grip.

It's a very simple design that lets me toss the camera in a pocket but still have it ready for those quick shots that might be lost having to unpack the camera.

Arrived quickly! Protector slips over gimbal and screen easily. Keeps pocket osmo stealth in your pocket without worrying that device will be damaged. A must have for the run n gun content creators.
