Its cut smaller than I thought but excellent life jacket
Purchased for 6 and 7 year old who are good swimmers to swim in lake. Kids loved wearing life jacket to just float around. This is my favorite of 2 brands which I bought because it works great. I would say it is small though. Ideal age kid 5-6. Its very tight on my 7 year old and very little room to adjust.

Great and Reliable Kid’s Life Jacket
Very reasonably priced and perfect for both girls and boys. Fits well- very comfortable. Nice, bright blue. Allowed for lots of mobility. We purchased for my son to attend sailing camp and it was a good price for that. I realized this is the same life jacket we find on many of our friends boats, so it seems to be a standard and relied upon life jacket here on the west coast of Florida.

Great for the price!
This is a decent life jacket for the price. I have bought my now 11 year old daughter nice ones at Costco int he $40 price range the last 2 years. She lost them both, so I told her she needed to buy the next one with her money. She bought this one due to the price. She is 81 pounds and this fit her decently, but is a tiny bit snug. I'm thinking we could get another year out of it though. She ended up finding one that she had thought was lost, so she favors that one. It's neoprene and looks much better. This one is definitely a great buy if you need a spare or need to buy a few and don't want to shell out a large sum of money at once.

Heavy 5 year old approved
My 5 year old son is on the heavier side. The vest keeps him a float with no problem. It's great because he was so scared to get in water before. Now, he has a lot of confidence knowing he will be safe in the water with the vest on.

Could be better
The vest kept going up to the neck even after strapping it really tight. It is hard to swim with it and even float since it doesn't stay in place. My kid said it was uncomfortable and hurt her neck after wearing it. I would recommend another one that has the bottom strap to secure it better.
