I am so pleased with this piece! I will be ordering more in other colors and have already ordered another style made from the same fabric. The material is soft and flowy but not cheap. I will be living in these all summer, not just for sleeping but as bathing suit cover ups Too! For reference, I wear a 16 in jeans, a L-XL shirt, 205lbs, 5'9 and I ordered the XL which fits exactly as I had hoped. Not to big, not clingy either. Buy it...buy 5! You won't regret it.

I am 5'5", 125lbs, and have a smaller build. The medium fit really well--IMPORTANT FYI: the head and arm holes of the gown are GOOD; you do not have to worry about boobage issues (that was my biggest concern when purchasing). The gown is well made, extremely comfortable, and does not retain heat like synthetic materials. It could actually pass as a dress, so it is awesome to throw on at the end of a long,hot summer day without looking like you're wearing "jammies" at 6pm when you have to answer the door! :o)

I’m a nightgown fanatic and GYS has become a favorite brand. This gown is very soft, comfortable, and loose in the right places. I’m 5’5” 34D, size 6 and the SMALL fits great... with room to spare in the belly area should I overeat at dinner and not be embarrassed by wearing a gown that clings to an evening poochy belly (as opposed to flatter AM belly).... you know it makes a difference if it fits great when you try it on in the AM, but you’re saying “Ahh crap!” when you put it on in the evening and you’re hoping he’s not looking. LOL! It skims over the breasts nicely (nipples protrude, giving it an innocently sexy look) without looking like it’s snug or too tight because the armholes are big.. so it appears looser... thereby giving it a SEXY, almost slouchy oversized look, yet the shoulders are slightly cut in... not so much as to be racer back, but just enough to bare the shoulders and give it a slight sexy look by making you appear wider at the shoulders - in my case I appear more balanced, more hourglass aven though it’s loose fitting and straight from the rib cage down. It falls just above my knees. This review is written AFTER washing a few times - I usually hang my bamboo gowns to dry, but I did put this in the dryer once since it fit on the larger size. Mine is the soft pink, and I’m about to order it in black & navy. I just wish it came in more shades - would love a red, a soft baby blue, a dark amethyst, a dark emerald green and more.My guess is the model is wearing size Small, but about a size 2 and probably 5’3”... if that helps with how it fits.

I don't leave reviews.. like.. ever. but.. I had to for this. It's got a soft and buttery feel; it's lightweight; with *just enough* lycra or something stretchy to make it fall perfectly. It's nice and cool. It's not clingy and it doesn't get all tangled. And the racerback design is just long enough to *not* make you feel like a hoochie when you sit down. There aren't any annoying scratchy things like a tag or stitches. It's perfection. I seriously ordered 2 more in rapidfire fashion within a week. I realized I had a problem after the first day; when I started texting the link to all of my friends; extolling its virtues. (Who texts people about a nightgown??!!) If you get this gown, you will stay deliciously cool and carefree and will get everything around the house done without ever getting dressed. Which leads to its only downside: you will never want to get out of this gown to wash it.. or to actually dress in anything else to leave the house. It will make you examine your life choices. I highly recommend this bad boy.. but if you get it; get 2!!!PS: I got the vneck/back one too; it's about 3 inches shorter than the racerback.. but at least it comes in decent colors.

Very soft and flowing. Fit as expected. Comfortable and do not wind around you in your sleep. I would give 5 stars but for some reason they (I bought 2) do not dry in the dryer! They bunch up on themselves and while the rest of the load is perfectly dry they are still wet to moist. I've tried dryer balls, dryer sheets, drying them with towels to get them to fluff out but to no avail. I was running my dryer way too much to get them dry. Now I just hang them on the rack with my bras.

The material is very soft and comfortable. I like the larger arm holes, in allowed more freedom when rolling over in bed at night, not constricting. The thing I like least about it was the fact that the bacK hem was longer than the front, something I’m not real fond of. But definitely not enough to stop me give it five stars. I would order this again.

I like the nightgown's material and length, but the arm hole area on each side is unusually large. When it stretches out, your breasts are almost fully visible from the sides. It's not that I was looking for modest, mainly just a comfortable nightgown. I don't like constantly having to readjust it. A bit disappointed.

This is well made and good fabric, it feels very soft and not too thin. I can wear it around the house as a casual dress as well as a good length nightgown. I got the color dark blue and it is very versatile. The shape through the waist is flattering as well as the hem at the bottom. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like it.The fit is pretty forgiving so don’t stress about which size to choose. I purchased a medium and I am 5’4” 160 pounds. It is nice throughout. I would guess that large or small would also work. Though small size would be shorter than I would like. Medium came down to a tiny bit above my knee. So it skims my knee. I also ordered small and it was a little shorter, so I returned it, because that wasn’t what I was looking for in.
