Pretty much everything you could ask for in a supremely basic home tool kit.
Well I won't repeat what dozens of other reviewers have said. Decent quality kit. Don't expect too much from it, but it'll get the job done. I'd highlight the drill and ratcheting screwdriver as particularly top notch, considering the price. My one gripe:They advertise the kit as coming with thirty two (32) screwdriving bits. Which is factually true. However they neglect to mention that literally over half of those bits are duplicates.I received 12 unique bits and a whopping TWENTY duplicates.Having a duplicate of the most common bits is probably a good idea for a basic Home DIY kit like this. But do I really need six PH2 Phillips bits? For a purchaser's reference, I received the following screwdriving bits:Flathead:(2) 6s, (2) 8s, (2) 10sPhillips(4) PH1s, (6) PH2s, (4) PH3sSquare (Robertson)(2) S1s, (2) S2s, (2) S3sStar (Torx)(2) T10s, (2) T15s, (2) T20s= 32 bits totalI knocked off two stars because that just seems shady to me.

WARNING about their chargers
While the tools work, 12V drill is definitely not powerful, but it does the work I bought it for. Problem I have is that I just happened to read the Safety tag on the battery charger (for no real reason just happen to read it.) The tag warns not to use the charger on any batteries other than their 16V and 20V batteries, as others may burst.....??? While I haven't charged mine yet, and I haven't seen any reviews of such situations with this particular model..... It's the lack of regard to consumer safety that is not acceptable. These tools take hours to charge, and I have a general trust in companies that if I plug to charge something, I don't have to worry about them blowing up.As far as the tools themselves... I'd give it a 5/5, especially for the price. These aren't at a professional level. But they definitely will get basic jobs done.

Great Little Kit
This is a great little kit. The drill is smaller and lighter weight than I anticipated and the storage bag is smaller than it looks in the pictures. I'm happy with that. I find this 12v drill much easier to hold steady and control than the more powerful one I had been using before. And this one works fine for drilling through plaster walls and wood. So far I have put up some wall mounted coat racks and curtain rods and it serves the purpose just fine. All the other tools are good quality and useful as well. Plenty of room in the storage bag. I threw in a couple of extra hammers and a small storage box of miscellaneous. It would be nicer if the bag had an outside pocket and some inside pockets for the small bits as well, but it's obvious that this kit is designed to be economical. A big "CHINA" is stamped on the hammer which for some may be a little off putting. I remember when all my dad's tools said USA. . . times have changed.

Good set for a starter person like me... a lady who wants her own tools
Very nice set from black and decker. I love how it includes not just drill but other useful tools like tape measure and hammer etc. my only down take is that it doesn’t come with concrete bits only wood bits.

Great kit.
This thing is awesome. Every household needs a tool kit handy and this is perfect. The power drill is strong enough to get all the simple household tasks done and it has all the other little tools that you will need to be handy.Pros-inexpensive (a lot cheaper than other kits)-good quality tools-gets the job done-includes everything you need pretty much- everything including charger fits in the case (and room to add more things)I recommend this if your looking for a good kit to keep handy for small jobs around the house.

For occassional and light use
This is a great starter set for basic jobs done around the house. Some of the tools are very small (like the hammer, wrench, tape measure, drill) but they work well. They're just not going to do heavy duty work, which I'm assuming buyers would understand. The drill and battery seem solid and I was able to do some minor jobs no problem. Some of the other tools are more "normal sized" and seem solidly made. Overall, for the price and for light duty work, this is a great set!

Average quality
The battery screwdriver is great, the handheld Phillips head screwdriver is useless, the overall quality is average... I would have paid more for another higher quality tool set...

Great deal for first home
I am not a man of tools. Just not my thing. I would rather pick up a few hours of freelance work and pay someone to do things right the first time. That said, I bought a condo and I simply can’t call a handyman every time I need to put an anchor in the drywall. This little set has basically everything I need. Drill had decent power and hold a charge. The bag is nice, but kinda too bad it has no compartments. Every tool just goes into the same place so I have to go digging to the bottom to find things like my grandma did with her purse when she wanted a mint. There’s one sort of Phillips head screwdriver that doesn’t work for any screw I have. Kinda weird. The other weird thing is, yes, you get like a million drill bits but a bunch are 4 or the same size. Like, am I supposed to lose a bunch or do they break? As I said, I’m not a man of tools, so I don’t understand the need for 4 of the same size bits. Other than that, it’s great. Can’t beat what you get for the price so that’s why it’s still 5 stars.
