It is very easy to install on my Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga with a bad wifi card; it is literally plug in and play with Windows 10. I initially bought a replacement wifi card, which seemed to be an exact fit; however, it was not recognized by the Lenovo whitelist as an authorized network card. So, I decided to give this USB wifi adapter a shot. So far, it has been very reliable and working as it should. If you do not want to mess with the whitelist stuff, then I think that this is a pretty good option.

Several times since I installed this adapter it is not present when I boot up my PC or if I restart it. Not all the time, just some of the time. I found if I unplug it and re-insert it then it comes alive again. I don't know why it acts like this but once it is working it works fine.. Using on Windows 10 Home 32 bit.

I was going to open up my laptop and replace the wifi card in it. But I decided to try this first and see if maybe I could increase the signal strength from the front house to the back house. It did just that. I am very pleased with this product. It increased the connectivity by alot, if I had to put a number on it Id say about 50-60 percent stronger than before and its consistent, too.

my PC had no wi fi card so when I disconnected the direct hard wire link , I was concerned about Wi Fi internet. The product came and all I did was plug into a USB port.... works like a charm! only issue is the width of the unit.... it is wide and blocks the last USB port to the right, oh well... a small price to pay for fast internet.

I like it because it was easy to install. I ordered it because my 6yr old granddaughter needs it for her summer homework packet preparing for 2nd grade. It has worked perfectly.

Even as I write this, I am getting an intermittent signal. I bought two of these adapters back in July 2019. Seven months later, one is completely done (doesn't work at all) and the other is losing connection, going n and out. What do you expect for such a bargain price?, right? I would expect that it would last at least a full year. They don't last that long. So, if you need a quick fix, for a couple months, then sure. Notice how all the 4 and 5 star reviews were recent purchases? Again, I bought two, and they both performed the same, dead or dying in a few months. You want a real Wifi Adapter, then pay more money.

Really, what more to say. Have a PC stick plugged into a monitor that I use for only live viewing my IP CAMS around the property, but it only came with 2.4G network adapter. I plugged this in and easily hooked up to 5G router channel, improving IP CAM signals. Simple, it works as advertised and an economical addition to the cheap PC stick.

My house is old and the internet connection is on the second floor. I can't easily run cable to the first and third floor so I rely on a good AP and these adapters. They work well and especially so given the signal needs to go through hard wood floors and plaster. Just did a speed test and receiving 120 mbps. Not too shabby!
