For decades now, I've worn an apron for much of the day -- one of those standard, butcher-style aprons with the loop that goes behind the neck to hold up the bib, and with wrap-around ties at the waist to tie in front. Those aprons never posed a problem for me until a couple of years ago, when I started carrying a cellphone around the house, to listen to an audiobook or podcast while performing boring chores -- housecleaning, folding laundry, chopping vegetables, washing dishes. etc. But then I found that my neck constantly ached, and the ache was centered right where my aprons' neck bands hung. I couldn't stand to wear an apron anymore, but needed to protect my clothes. I happened upon a review of, or ad for, the Hedley & Bennett apron, but that brand was so expensive, and I didn't like the colors offered. I looked for a less expensive cross-back apron. This one appeared to be well made, and got good reviews... and it was about 1/3 the cost of a Hedley. I decided to try the cheaper option, to see if I even liked the cross-back style. I wasn't disappointed. The quality of this apron was even nicer than I'd expected, even in light of the many positive reviews. It's beautifully constructed of thick, sturdy fabric. The stitching is reinforced at the corners. The straps, hooks, grommets, and leather trim pieces are beautiful as well as highly functional. The designer gave great thought to every functional and aesthetic detail. After a week of wearing the cross-back, my neck feels much better throughout the work day.If you wear an apron for any appreciable amount of time during the day, and especially if you're given to carrying your phone around in your apron pocket, I encourage you to get one of these aprons BEFORE your neck starts hurting!

For the last several years, I have sewn my own denim aprons. This time, I wanted to try something different. I flirted with this Jeanerlor for a few days but hesitated. Then I took the plunge. I regret having waited so long because this apron is the absolute best!It is constructed with the greatest care, with exquisite attention to detail. The overall stitching in blue is done with tiny stitches meant to hold and is reinforced in red thread at what would be the weak, easy-to-rip points. The metal parts are smooth so as to not snag your clothing. Lastly, it's adjustable to a person's height and width. I heartily recommend this apron to anyone contemplating to purchase it. I will definitely buy more.

I love this apron & everywhere I go I get excellent comments. Everyone wants to look it over front & back. I is my favorite upscale look from my usual tunic tops. It looks way better. Everyone wants to know where I got it and love that such a well designed & sturdy fabric is so affordable. I love the multipockets for use inside & outside the house. No more dropped or lost reading glasses. Definitely will buy another!

I love this apron! It’s easy to put on, highly adjustable in its fit, not too stiff or heavy, it washes and dries very well, and it is cute!

The apron is very cute. It’s fairly lightweight cotton, not a heavy canvas, so nice for at home use. No matter how hard several of us tried, we could not get the straps pulled through the metal grommets. The ends of the straps were heavily sewn with leather tips, which would not bend or fold to fit through the metal grommets on the sides of the apron. Sadly had to send it back.

Love. I’m an artist and use this for painting. Very thick so if I wipe paint on it, it doesn’t seep through.

This is an amazing apron. It is a great length for working in my paint shop or when woodworking. The thickness of the material is awesome! Not a flimsy piece, but feels substantial. Definitely worth the higher price tag and I'm going back for another one!
