PPG ProLuxe Door & Window Wood Finish, 1 Gallon, 003 Clear Satin

I’m quite happy with the application of this poly. I have a nice synthetic bristle brush that I used to apply and it went on nicely with no air bubbles. It was used on a fiberglass front door. Time will tell to see how much fading occurs.

This product gives a long way. I used a cloth to apply to hardwood cherry. 60' X 30' baseboard 4 inches high and 9" window casement and trim on 3 windows and still have 2/3 gallon left. It does take time to dry.

This is all we use on our outside doors and wooden walls of our screened-in porch. Also outside projects like log benches and picnic tables. Outstanding product!!

I purchased this to seal a couple of doors I made for my shop. The product goes on pretty well. Some attention needs to be paid to avoid drips/pooling but that is pretty standard for a product like this. It dries nicely and with a light sanding between first coat or two will produce a nice finish.As w/ any high VOC product wear a high quality vapor mask and ventilate the area well.

This is the best I have found for outside use. I use it on signs I make with paper and it holds up for several years. Love it.

This product was purchased for a log home exterior work. Through further research we found that this was not compatible with the Sikkens clear coat (now PPG) that we started the job with. We only needed one more gallon.We were looking for oil-based Maintenance Clear Coat.Even though it’s listed as returnable, it is not. We are still awaiting resolution from the seller and Amazon.
