really nice rug looks great in my living room. I bought a 5 foot first and it was to small so i put that one in my bedroom and got a bigger one almost 7 foot and it was perfect. Because it was rolled up for awhile I had to put gallon water bottles to hold the ends and get it to relax and I vacuumed it and it was better.2nd review now that i have had it a while because the rug was rolled up so tight the ends will not stay down. I decided to buy some reusable carpet grippers on amazon ( bad move) did not help and ruined the rug even though they were on the opposite side. So now i am not sure what i am going to do with it I have taken it out of my living room and folded it up and put in spare room

We bought this rug for my granddaughter’s nursery. The color was exactly as pictured. It had creases when we first unrolled it, but after a week or two of laying flat, it is fine. Didn’t want a super expensive rug because of pets and it being in a nursery as it will probably be replaced after a few years. It definitely needs a pad under it for cushion and to keep it from sliding. It fit our needs perfectly.

My family and I spend a great amount of time in the living room, and we prefer to walk in socks around the house instead of sandals. The rug itself is very nice & the shag feels great if we walk barefoot. However, the rug is thin, and I knew this purchasing but wish it had some fluff to it. My solution is adding a rug pad of 1/2" thick to add cushion. We hang out a lot in the living room & most of the time play interactive video games that involve standing up with our children. Don't get me wrong it is hard to find a thick enough area rug as it is. For now, until I am ready to add carpet all around our home, this will do great.

The GOOD- I needed something that perfectly matched with the sage green colors in my decor, I was a little nervous as some had described it as more of a grass green but I disagree . This perfectly matched with all the other sage green items I purchased on Amazon . I took a lot of photos trying to show the true color but it’s a bit hard to capture. In a couple photos it looked much darker blue green color and that wasn’t accurate , it’s a nice medium sage not too light not too dark.I followed directions and vacuumed it real well to fluff up the fibers and i don’t see any issues with bare spots as other posters noted. It is nice & fluffy. Definitely needs a gripper pad or tape underneath. I got the 8x10 for $140 & though I’m generally fairly overall satisfied I took away some stars for a few reasons.The BAD- quality issues : #1 there are TONS of extra long fibers I had to go around and trim down. Ranging from a half inch to an inch & a half longer than the rest. it was clearly not supposed to be that way & made it look really crappy. This is really irritating to me. Even with cheap rugs I’ve purchased I’ve never had to put so much work into making a brand new rug look decent. Wish I had taken a photo before I started trimming…I’ve spent about 30 minutes ish going around trimming the longest most obvious strands down & likely will need to spend another 20-30 minutes to just get most of them. There are a couple photos where I tried to capture this as an example. They are not loose which was my first thought, if I pull on them they are well secured. I contemplated sending it back because of this BUT the packing was so tight it had to be completely ripped long ways to get the rug out so there was no way to package it back up to send back.Second the fibers themselves just don’t seem of very good quality so idk how long this will hold up with regular vacuuming since shag rugs take a bit more effort to really get the dirt up and out of. Dirt tends to fall down deep in the rug or get wrapped up in the fibers so I am often pulling stuff out with my hands that the vacuum doesn’t get even though I don’t allow shoes in the house and vacuum regularly. It’s just me & my son I don’t have company & I’m very particular about keeping things extra clean because of the rug. So if u have pets or kids or dirt & debris that get tracked in I’d advise not getting shag. I feel like after a year or so this rug will likely be worn down enough to need to be replaced even with all the precautions I take just because of the quality of the fibers but 🤞All that being said I’m still just happy that the color perfectly matched which was quite the challenge when shopping online & that I haven’t noticed bare spots some other buyers had. I would recommend IF you’re on a budget & can’t afford a higher quality rug & you have time & patients to trim the fibers.

PLEASE, just don't!! I should have expected some disappointment due to the price, but sometimes you get lucky and the (@6,500 4star??!!!) reviews are legit. NO WAY. This was such a supreme disappointment, I think it tops the list of 18 years & thousands of Amazon orders. It was FOLDED (and therefore seemingly permanently creased) and crammed into a box for shipping. There was no way I was going to waste any more time on this. It was as stiff and unrelenting as could be trying to unfold and had signs of staining/debris on it, never mind the smell and the HORRIFIC quality. There were multiple bare spots where you could see through to the minimal stiff backing. The ONLY thing I would use this for is to cover and secure a load in the back of a truck headed for the dump. Seriously, I rarely write a review, but I hope this saves someone the disappointment that I had. I was ordering this to go under a bed and spruce up a bedroom just a bit before the holidays. It arrived a day later than stated and I'll likely have no time to search and secure a timely replacement now. Although it's a nice color, I would never have this in my house, much less pay money for it. It is just that bad, made fatally worse by the ludicrous decision to fold it and stuff in a box to ship to a customer!

I first purchased one of these rugs nearly two years ago (#1). I decided to get a couple more recently because the first one held up so well to a very heavily trafficked entryway...as you can see! Definitely recommend these rugs!

For the price I can’t really complain. A tad itchy if you lay on it for awhile but that could just be me personally..
