Super lightweight, very strong, professional case suitable for check-in on a flight
I never considered travelling by air with any of my OM Martins but decided to give it shot after receiving and analyzing this case close-up. As the product description states, this case is designed for a standard classical guitar but my vintage OM18 fit perfectly. What's more, the case is small and light enough to carry on (if the airline allows it which they’re supposed to in the US). The case and the built-in TSA locks were put to the test on a rather short international trip and the guitar arrived unscathed. Please note, I decided that I’m going to limit taking only acoustics with mahogany back-and-sides just as a precaution as the CITES treaty is easily misunderstood by international security agents let alone US agents. Regardless, this case gave me the confidence to enjoy my flight without a worry. It’s truly a superb case and very reasonably priced. Now if they only had a dreadnought-sized case in carbon fiber. :-)

Good Mid-Tier Guitar Case
I have had this case for my classical guitar for several months as a music student. The case is quite sturdy and I do not worry about my instrument while it is in it. The latches are unique in that they do not click into place, rather they are held in by the tension of the gear. It takes some getting used to but having them come unlatched is not an issue. This case will not have a weathertight seal. Rain won't get into the case but outside humidity will. Air seeps in and makes humidity control difficult in an uncontrolled environment. For a classical guitar, the fit will not be 100% snug. The case has a large lower bout meant for curved back guitars. I was disappointed that no additional foam inserts were provided. I reached out to the retailer about this and they said they will ship some out to me for $10 USD. I have not heard back since my confirmation in August. The foam padding inside is decent quality and looks really good. There is a removable velcro bag that sits below the neck of the guitar for random accessories. I keep my mute, tuner, Barnett support, and capo inside of it. The bag zips up parallel to the guitar neck. Two keys are provided for the TSA lock and both function normally. I'm yet to take this case on a flight but I think it will hold up well.

High quality but beware.
This is an odd review given I returned the case but I'm still giving it five stars. I hope it will prevent future buyers from assuming what I did . From the measurements given on Amazon for the interior of the case you could assume a Martin 000/om would fit perfectly. It does not! Nor does it accept Yairi 000/ folk guitars. A Martin 00 does fit and the case would be perfect for that. What Crossrock needs to publish to avoid returns is a measurement of the center of the waist from the bottom of the guitar. As is, the upper bout and lower bout measurements would work but where the waist of 000/om guitars is prevents them from fitting in the case. I guess classical guitars are shaped differently but don't look like they are. So why five stars? This is an excellent well made case that would have no problems surviving being checked as luggage on an airplane. It's light and very strong with the best latches I've seen on any case of any kind with a good TSA locking latch to secure your precious instrument. I wish they had this case in the 000 shape but I couldn't find one and I don't want to lay out the cash for the carbon fiber. So I ordered the fiberglass version with a leather like finish, which I'm sure I'll be pleased with.

Excellent Product; Excellent Service
I got this guitar for a 1942 Martin 0, so you can imagine I want to protect the guitar, but I need a lightweight case. This Crossrock case is super light - and its 4/4 Classical size is great for my size 0 Martin; I just put the rolled up t-shirt I keep in all my cases as a wipedown cloth at the bottom, and the guitar does not move in the case at all. And it feels very sturdy - I never intend to check my guitar into Baggage, but if I ever had to, this case (with cover zipped on) appears sturdy enough for the job.Just as importantly, when the case arrived, the padded backpack straps were missing. I contacted Crossrock with proof of purchase and they were sending me the straps within 24 hours. Excellent responsiveness!!

Nothing, but the Cover
This is an excellent case, fit my custom classical perfectly with proper neck support and super light. Unfortunately, the case cover didn't fit right. But, I contacted the manufacturer and they agreed to send me a new cover.

you got a $10 head…
if you have a $10 head, use a $10 helmet. that’s what i say. so if you spend hard earned money on a quality instrument you really ought to spend for quality protection. in this case i’m talking about a handmade custom pimentel classical guitar that i gave to my son. he was using a pimentel case but it was basically just a wooden guitar case made of plywood. researched and went with the blue poly carbon case. didn’t think he’d like the blue but once he saw it he was convinced and he loves it. the overall quality is evident, and the details highlight the look and functionality of the case. you know it’s going to protect and look great. highly recommend.couple of weeks later i got a notification from amazon because the case was still listed in my save for later list. this time, it was the black poly carb case. the first one in blue was just over $400 and i thought it was a steal since it was actually less expensive than the ultra fiberglass. the black one was priced at $315. since i also have a pimentel guitar but was using a chrom-cast wooden case, i went ahead and got myself the black one. they’re still listed at $499 on amazon, obviously this was a sweet deal. for the money you can’t go wrong, and you’d be hard pressed to find a better case or value at any price. highly highly recommend crossrock poly carb cases!
