You must not leave it on a high flame it will burn the handle
what a like most about itI cook rice in it for a small portions its perfectthe rice doesn't stick or burn at the bottom of the panand the ventilated lid helps to cook the rice quickerLove it

the handle is a little loose. not a big fan of that, for over time use hope it hold up we have a 3 qt. rock solid we love.
