Does not work for 5C, only found out the actual product has 5S typed on battery and in the instructions, when opening the boxes, as the title describes (different photo, shows 5S now), but description misleading. No doubt wrecked the phone of any resurrection with wrong battery. The old one was also pretty impossible to move, nowhere near as simple as the video or instructions imply. The battery seemed ready to crumble, but firmly set in place, the stickers (like the ones they give you to replace, are very stretchy and difficult to remove from under battery, wrapping them on screwdriver (as instructed), also took ages to get the stuff off there.From the top plate, 3 screws are smaller and the top right is slightly larger hole and longer fit, just in case anybody mixes them, as not all magnetic, very fiddly, I’ve done a number of technical jobs no bother, this was a good 90 minutes, 2 hour job, so allow plenty of ‘lockdown’ time.

Key for me were the easy to follow written instructions and their good video. All tools & pieces were included so by closely following the video it was straightforward although you need extremely small & agile fingers to do it at the speed of the demonstrator. The one thing it doesn't cover is what to do when things go as shown; in my case one of the existing adhesive tapes broke which isn't covered anywhere. The very short paragraph on optimising the battery to the phone is confusing as it isn't actually included in the step by step instructions.As I've only just replaced the battery it is too early to be definitive on longevity and battery life.

I can't comment on Battery life as that takes couple of years to confirm. The battery look excellent and It fits iPhone 5s perfectly fine. My big tip, do yourself a big favor and don't buy those cheap batteries (£4 or 5) from those famous online actions as the are rubbish and last only few months despite giving you 10 years warranty!

Had to recharge the iPhone 5s 2 or 3 times a day & sometimes it would just suddenly shutdown... but replacing the battery now means it lasts a day or 2 depending on usage & more reliable lasting time estimates... Replacing yourself is straightforward but you have to be careful and delicate especially in prying the screen out (to prevent it cracking) but after this the rest should be easy. Watch the instruction videos a couple of times before attempting.

Very happy, came with all the tools you need and good step by step instructions with photos. It's quite fiddly but if you can read the instruction sheet (it's small writing) you can do this otherwise find someone with better eyesight! I watched one of the many youtube videos first and suggest you do the same. Battery life so far is amazing, as for the future , who can tell but I think the quality is as good as you could wish for. And it came with a little gift!! Good seller.

Bought this to replace a battery in an old iPhone 5, easy to follow the steps and all the right tools for the job. Some of the screws are super tiny so took a while but got the job done in the end. Battery now lasts the full day with at least 20-30 percent left whereas before it wouldn’t last more than an hour.

Quick delivery. Instructions are clear, however the text is small, needed a magnifying glass to read properly.Tools were adequate for the job. I found it a difficult task to remove the old battery, the adhesive kept the battery stuck in place. It took a while to slowly free the old battery. The old battery is a little out of shape, this concerned me and no advice is given on how to dispose of safely etc. I suggest adding a safe container or bag for this purpose, with instructions.My iPhone 5S is working fine, and I am calibrating the new battery unit as instructed. Time will tell.

The kit is good and instructions are well written. But you also need to see the several YouTube videos to understand the process. A good working light also helps as the screws are tiny.One tip though: It's not necessary to remove the three ribbon cables. The main thing to remember is that the open back should never go more than 90 degrees from the base to prevent ribbon cable damage. Get an old lollipop stick or wooden spatula and cut it in half lengthways and use this as a secure central "prop" to hold the case open at 90 degrees. Secure it top and bottom with masking tape. You can then work with both hands to remove and replace the battery without having to remove the ribbon cables and cover.
