These have much better padding and sweat absorption
Despite the sizing chart, these run really small. I bought these and the Outdoor Research crack climbing gloves similar version. These have much better padding and sweat absorption, than the OR version. I wish they were longer though, like the Outdoor Research gloves. I do wear tape around the wrist while crack climbing for added protection. These are quite sticky and hold on the big climbs. I fully trust these gloves. At first I was skeptical, until my friends Jon R and Devin F told me to try them, while we were out one day on Scarface Wall; they have climbed here for 20 years, so I trusted their opinion.... I'm really happy with my purchase. I climb indian Creek Utah and Durango Colorado, mostly use these at the Creek. Saves time with not having to tape and saves your skin as well. If you crack climb, I definitely recommend these the most vs. the OR gloves. The OR gloves are good and well made, these are just a little bit thicker and have nicer padding. My only complaint is the sizing is small and the price for these gloves is ridiculous. They should be about $20.

Must have for any crack climber
These are the only non tape based crack climbing gloves I have ever used so I can't compare them to other brands but I am thrilled to have them in my quiver. I have never felt so secure hanging from a hand jamb before these and I can jamb for hours without pain. Sure I could just "toughen up" but why would I work to desensitize every nerve on the back of my hands when there is a convenient product that can drastically cut down on the wear and tear of crack climbing. They have yet to get in the way, in fact I usually forget that I have them on until I have to perform a hand jamb and even then the only part I notice is the lack of sharp crystals jabbing into my skin and the surprising security I feel thanks to the grippy rubber.

Ocun Crack Glove Review
An excellent product--its slim profile means it does not hang up at the edge of the crack when you are trying to insert your hand into a crack. It is tailored well to the hand and does not bind or impede hand movements. I like how the Velcro wrist strap closure is hidden so that once the glove is on the strap does not get in the way of efficient jamming. I suggest sizing the glove a bit small--for most men size medium will be just right. My only complaint might be that the glove will not be burly enough to stand up to extensive long-term jamming, but the cost of a replacement pair is not outlandish so if after a season or so one has to buy a replacement pair then I think that is fair. If the manufacturer had used more robust materials it would sacrifice the glove's main selling point--its slim easy hand flexion profile. So in sum the glove is a good balance of performance, material choices, and cost.

I actually enjoy crack climbing with these gloves
I use to hate crack climbing, but then I got these gloves! I would highly recommend these to anyone who uses tape (these will save you time and repeated tape protocols) or doesn't like crack climbing because of the painful pressure spots that tape doesn't help (much). I've had numerous friends try them and buy their own pair.Downsides: 1) it makes your hands wider (which is not always a bad thing, particularly if you're in a slightly larger crack). 2) nothing else

Have used tape gloves for years, and would even ...
Have used tape gloves for years, and would even re-use my tape gloves for months. The tape gloves did the trick, and because I re-used the glove I didn't use too much tape, just enough to tape them to my wrist. However, once I put them on I would leave them on all day even if every climb wasn't a crack climb.I have tried other crack gloves in the past and they always felt much thicker than tape gloves. The Ocun's feel very similar to tape with the added benefit of being able to remove them for routes where they're not necessary.

Seem durable, but too short
I like the the moderate thickness of these but they stop short of the wrist so I have to tape further up to protect the skin and ulnar bone-end prominence.

Great Design
Great quality and better than the in-gym brand we purchased previously...(orange ones). These have a good design that allows one to tuck in the velcro strap so it doesn't get caught or rip. Of course, our real climbing friends tell us to toughen up and go bare or with tape but why suffer?

Love them!
1st trad crack lead with these gloves. Love them!!!!!!!When I 1st got them I thought I might have gotten too small of a glove. Not the case. They need to be tight. I got a medium and I normally wear a medium. If my hand was any bigger It would not work, but for me, they are rock solid.
