Bought these alongside a pair that are not padded. To replace similar ones of a different brand that actually lasted us 15 years.Very good value for money very comfortable.However I will suggest that you are very careful sitting on them if they have been out in the rain. They are weatherproof and they are absolutely fine left in the rain.However what I discovered was, unlike the plain ones the slightly padded ones hold some water, so as soon as you sit down you get a wet bum. Only disadvantage with them so just be aware of that fact.

They're comfortable and seem well made. My only criticism is that the top is padded and seems almost designed to hold water. If it rains in the morning, hours after the rest of my garden furniture has dried, I can put my feet on these footstools and end up soaking wet. Tipping them up results in water pouring out of the mesh. It's as if the top layer is porous and the bottom layer is waterproof

This was the ideal foot rest for my bench height. I purchased a bench with built in storage, the foot rest folds almost flat and can be stored along with the cushion for the seat

Not used them yet in the garden but good quality at a good price and seem great when I tried them out

Love those folding footstools. Got them for putting our feet up whilst sitting in the sun in the garden. So light but sturdy. Hardly take up any room when folded away. They’re perfect.

Bought 2 chairs and very pleased. The seat however is double layered and when it rains the water gets trapped between the layers and does not drain. I have to lay them on their side so the water drains away. Real disappointment as quite expensive.

Great chairs, just don’t leave out in the rain as they soak it up and take a while to dry, also you can’t see that they are wet, resulting in some very wet clothing!Very good value for money
