I first tried this sauce in a tiny bottle from the Dole plantation in Hawaii back in around 2011. I made ribs with them and sadly ran out I loved it but couldn’t find it local. I’m glad I was able to find it again after so long and it didn’t disappoint. Brought me back. I made Beef Flank ribs on the grill with woods chips and it smothered this sauce on them. 10/10 delicious I recommended for great bbq taste. I never have to worry about running out with this 1 gallon bottle. 👍Update: I have been wanting to buy this sauce but Amazon is price gouging. I use to get this bottle for $23-27 range and now it has went below $60. I’ve seen it at $90 Shipped/sold by Amazon. Idk what’s going on but that’s a rip off. Im Sad because I’m out and I’ve been craving this sauce.😞

I had been buying this stuff in the little 5 oz. bottles at the local Stater Brothers. Then they stopped carrying it. Then I went to Wal Mart and they had the little bottles so bought it there. Then they raised the price of one 5 oz. bottle to over 12 bucks!!!! So, I went to Amazon. I found this big jug for only 30 bucks so I bought it. Now I just fill my little 5 oz. bottle and go to town! This stuff tastes great. Sweet and HOT! Just like I like it. We make chicken and gravy over rice and I add this stuff and POW! Makes it really really good. Much better than any other Asian hot sauce I have tried. I sure hope Amazon doesn't stop carrying this stuff. Highly recommended!!!

The sauce is absolutely delicious. Don’t be scared off by it being fat free. They taste like the true Hawaiian sauce they give you at Trader Vics restaurant to dip your meat into.They stop selling this at both of my local markets. I was relieved to find on Amazon but was worried about the expiration date. Luckily it is good for the next two years which will definitely be used before then.The most popular recipe I recommend is injecting this throughout a pork shoulder and smoking it. I cover it with the sauce as well and leave it overnight to marinate. Always tons of compliments from everybody! Highly recommended

found this in a small bottle at a store for an arm and a leg... came on here for a reasonable price. If you like hotsauce to the point where you seek out flavorful but not stupid hot (aka ghost pepper variety) and you seek a hotsauce that tastes delicious ... this is it.

This sauce is not very hot but full of flavor. I love the slight heat with all the flavor. It’s something you can use for all types of food and even use as a BBQ sauce; it’s tangy with sweetness and heat. And their is a flavor I can’t quite describe but it reminds me of many Hawaiian food. Try it, I think it’s worth it.
