Gap filled on oak flooring
The product had been used to fill a wide gap in oak floor. The colour match is perfect and although only 2 days since applying, it seems to do what is says on the tube.

Like others I think the description of dark oak is not quite right, it is lighter than expected but as I have lighter oak I matches very well. Found the best way to apply is to apply normally then use a scrapper with a sharp right angle profile to remove excess to produce the desired finish.

What a fabulous product. I used it to seal the gaps between a wooden floor and the skirting board and also to seal the unsightly gaps between the wooden floor planks themselves. The Gapmaster was far easier to apply than silicone sealant simply because it is water soluble before it has set. This made it simple to remove the excess with a wet cloth. It also came off my hands, fingers and anything else it came into contact with. The floor has now been down about three months and despite the inevitable movement in wood over varying temperatures the Gapmaster has remained in place and still looks great. I will undoubtedly use this again and can highly recommend it.

Okay if you like salmon pink
I bought this product with the aim of achieving a close colour match to the wood I was using - mahogany / exotic wood. The finished product looks nothing like this and can best be described as salmon pink. This is a real disappointment as I spent a good while looking at the colour options to achieve the best likeness. In other respects the product is okay, but I can't help feeling I would have been better off just choosing a brown coloured flexible filler at a fraction of the price of this product. If Bona wish to market this as a specialist gap filler for wood, is it asking to much to provide a reasonably accurate colour chart?

Perfect colour, Easy to use
Used to fill gaps between skirting boards and floor after stripping original floorboards. It was easy to use and cured quite quickly. Really pleased with the finish, i used light oak although i used it against pine, as the pine after sanding was quite light, perfect match.

Good match for my wooden floor!
Good filler, great for filling gaps at the bottom of door frames and skirting - as with all flexible fillers not suitable for filling large gaps due to tendency to sink (same principle as silicone sealant and caulk). Needs to be applied with a sealant gun.

Amazing for painted floors
We sanded down and pine slivered the wooden floors in our victorian home. Bona Gap is indispensable for those cracks that are too small to sliver. It filled them perfectly and as it expands and contracts it doesn't pop out like the silvers can. For the next room I am going to use bona on more of the medium sized gaps too. Although more expensive it is so much less work and give the most wonderful finish when painted.
