MASTERBOND 1HR WINDSCREEN KIT

After watching a few online videos about how to reseal my Audi A4 convertible rear window , as it had come away from the canvas hood, I decided to give this a go.It comes with everything you need to complete the job and the window is now solidly back in place, is watertight and looks great.A few bits of advice:Get a strong caulking gun, because the adhesive is tough to get out.Put plenty on to ensure you don’t have any gaps. Once dry, a clean Stanley blade gets it off the glass with ease, so don’t worry about any seeping out.Wear latex gloves bcos this stuff is very sticky and trust me when I say that you don’t want to spend three hours trying to get it off your hands and from underneath you fingernails! :(DO NOT leave the lid off the primer and rest it on the boot of your car. I knocked it over when using the sealant and then had to work hard to remove this paint from the bodywork!Summary- this stuff is great. Follow the instructions. Be patient and careful and the results will be excellent.FYI-I used Sealey suction clamps to pull the glass and the canvas hood together and they worked a treat.

Tried to use this on a normal British summer day but it was too cold, couldn't get it to come out of the tube, keep it somewhere warm for a few hours before use and bob is your mother's brother. Perfect for the job.

This is clearly very strong stuff. Maybe if someone knew how to use it better they would’ve found it easier. However I found this quite hard to use. And it did not work out I wanted to. This was probably just because of my lack of skills in applying it. However I’m sure it could be made a bit easier to be more user friendly.

Arrived quickly, great product. Used for my excavator top front window glass with wiper motor hole to sick glass to the moveable frame. Never used before but confident to use again if needed. Stuck well and had lots of rain thrown at it. Very happy so far.

A bit messy but easy to clean up with a sharp scraper once dried.Worked a treat reattaching rear glass on convertible top .You will need suction clamps for the operation but works well! No leaks

Did exactly what it was bought for, I replaced 4 quarter panel windows with 1 tube and it set and was good to go in 2 hours. Good quality worth every penny.
