I'm very pleased with this safe. It's very heavy, sturdy, and appears well made. The locking mechanism is robust. I'm sure it wouldn't take a professional lockpick long to get in, but the average burglar will be stymied. And, even without being bolted down (which this safe provides both back and bottom mount options), this safe would need two theives to pick it up and run off, though one strong enough one could carry it. Areas for improvement: 1) The instruction manual clearly was not written by a native English speaker; it's terrible. 2) The lock for the "hidden" door under the bottom mat is difficult to use; it takes several attempts and lots of jiggling to get the oddly shaped key into the oddly shaped lock (and the instructions are not clear on this key/lock). 3) The tamper alarm must be turned on manually every time you lock the safe if you want it to be on. Note that this safe does not include a fingerprint reader (the Amazon review asked me to rate it for some reason). And, some buyers may not realize from the description that you must use at least one key to open the safe. The opening choices are key+combo, or key+key. You cannot open it with just a combination or just one key. I bought a water/fire-resistant bag to place items into before placing them in the safe since this safe it not rated for fire and water protection. But, all told, I'm pleased with my purchase and the price was good during Amazon Prime Days

I thought this was one of those small sturdy desktop safes, but boy was I wrong.This is a thick, heavy plate steel behemoth of security. It is easy to use and has cool security features. Padded inside, has an internal light that lasts only ten seconds. It's very heavy and thick and can survive anything short of a nuclear blast. Besides what would you keep in the safe that a nuclear blast be needed? Sizewise, this is just a tad bigger than the average milk crate. It does it's job and am very happy with it. It's worth the price paid.

I had previously rated this product a single star. Once the support team got involved things got a lot better. They are truly very customer orientated. As for the product ii is very well designed and extremely strong. Thanks support.

This was my first safe purchase and I admit that I would purchase it all over again. Just like many other reviews, it is an Attractive piece....Also too heavy for one person to carry so that's extra security in knowing that. I love the side, top and bottom bolts which makes it very secure. After reading the reviews, I didn't even read the full manual. I watched the video on how to set/reset codes and it's worked good so far. I love the fact they send 2 sets of keys, the inside has a key for more storage. I used a coupon and got this for a very good deal! I would definitely recommend.I took one star away because the cover where the backup key goes doesn't slide open and closed, but on mine you take it off and put it back on. It may fall off and I may lose it in the long run, but as long as the keys remain to work, I should be good.

Nice size, great build quality, easy to set up, great security with 2 keys and combo. Just right for small home safe

This is a GREAT that was really easy to set up. The safe feels heavy and the door opening action is surprisingly smooth. The BIO I.D. Works flawlessly and the safe responds quickly when the code or fingerprint is engaged. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This safe is well worth what I paid for it.

The safe would not work with the keys provided, so I took the safe apart to try to figure out what was wrong and there were about six bolts inside the mechanism that were not tight after working on the safe for about 2 hours I finally got it working good

A very nice safe but I noticed an odd seam on the bottom of the safe that is visible from inside and out. I posted pictures. Walls on this are at least 1/8 inch thick, maybe more, nice! For the price this is an strong safe!
