This is a cool tool and surprisingly the built in pipe works very well!

I have been through TSA six times with the device flipped onto the side of my purse with my regular keys. Very handy should you need it. One of my girlfriends got a new vehicle and went into her house to find a screwdriver by the team she came out using this device. Back plates required a hex wrench, which was on this device and the front required a Phillips, which was also on this device. By the time she came out of her house. I already had her plates secured.

Very well made and if you collect small tools/keychain items this is a good addition. As I expected, it has limited applications as a multitool; it has great novelty value and looks very good.

I am a guy, therefore I love gadgets. Multi-blade knives? Check! Folding pliers? I got 'em! Flashlight with built-in firestarter? Yes please! People like me are the reason Ron Popeil died rich. When I saw this gadget, I knew I had to have it. Right out of the package I could tell that this was a nice solid little unit. It's bigger, heavier and made of better material than the cheap stamped-out trash they sell at the flea market, with precise machining and markings (1" US ruler, 30mm metric ruler, 90° protractor). Nice semi-matte finish. 5/5 for build quality. Geekey suffers a little in terms of usability. Multitools always compromise between versatility and functionality. This gadget does a lot of things, but only a couple of them well. The screwdriver at the tip is the worst offender: it tries to be a slotted screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, and square driver all in one, but it's too thick for the first, too narrow for the second, and too long for the third. It works well as a paint can opener and tape slitter. The serrated cord cutter notch is useless: it left the end of a length of paracord a frayed mess. On the other hand, the box wrenches work well, with a clever design that accommodates both SAE and metric hex heads, and the 1/4" recessed hex driver really comes in handy for tight spaces. And of course the bottle opener (the sine qua non of multitools) works flawlessly. Overall, 3/5 for functionality. It does not replace or outperform any other tool in my EDC. It does have one feature that none of my other gadgets has, and that is why I just had to have it: it has a tiny little smoking pipe! Unfortunately,this is another one of those compromises I mentioned above. The stem length (distance between the bowl and the user's lips) is only about 1", so it hits hot, and the pipe is metal, which heats up quickly. Be careful or you might burn your lip! Also, the mouthpiece is at the angled tip of the key, so you have to hold it at an angle to get a good draw. Finally, the bowl is wide and shallow, leaving some of your totally legal smoking material unburned. I give it 3/5: it beats carving a pipe out of an apple, but there are better keychain pipes out there, if that's what you're into. All in all, I should rate this item at a respectable 4 stars, but I like it so much I'm giving it a bonus star. It's a unique and cool little piece that's unlike anything else in my gadget collection. It's not my go-to for anything, even smoking, but paired with my keychain folding knife, it makes for a good EDC lanyard for when I'm out riding and don't want to carry my Leatherman. 5/5, would buy again!

The Geekey is by far the most versatile and durable keychain tool I've ever used. I can tell that years of design and development were put towards creating this wonderful example of engineering prowess. It's a bicycle/electronics repair kit and furniture installation kit thats the size of a key. It also features a bowl for those moments when you just need to unwind after a truly geekey endeavor. I could not be more impressed. I truly hope this tool continues to be manufactured for the rest of my existence as it has made my life much easier and there's a certain peace of mind associated with having every tool one could need in one compact package. One might say the geekey has improved not only my quality of life, but my mindset as well. Thank you Carve Design for this absolutely wonderful tool. Customer service is very eager to answer questions. The owner and proprietor reached out to me himself to do so. I appreciate not having a barrier between customer and seller. A+ Edit: Pro tip, aquire a small neodymium magnet. Place it on the side of the geekey. Now you can carry any bit you want with you wherever you go. Additionally you can put the magnet on the other side of the bit receptacle so you don't have to hold the bit in place when using the quarter inch driver. (See photos)

I use to have a Millennium falcon key chain, I found myself using it to open boxes all the time to the point I eventually broke off front. I bought this as replacement and use this all the time for mostly opening boxes. I don't really carry a pocket knife on me but I always have my keys, even the screw driver and file has come in handy for me

Good useful holiday gift

The quality is good, but as you can see in the pictures there is no Geekey logo, and the pipe functionality is missing because there is not any hole in the bowl.

Attrezzo multiuso dalle giuste dimensioni ridotte. Non sono un ciclista, ma l'ho trovato molto valido per altre soluzioni "outdoor". È l'originale come da immagine, proprio come me l'aspettavo. Consigliatissimo. Venditore onesto e veloce come da indicazioni. Amazon una conferma. Volevo aggiungere, attrezzo valido anche nei piccoli imprevisti della quotidianità ( piccolo cacciavite, apribottiglie, stringere un piccolo dado e altro....)
