Won’t work for everyone, but it may work for you
This cozy attempts to solve the age old problem of how to keep Chemex coffee hot. My measurements with a digital thermometer indicated it does keep the coffee warmer over time by about seven degrees. Is that enough of a difference to be considered successful? Well, that depends. There are three factors individual to you that will determine if the cozy is for you. First, how hot do you like your coffee? I like the coffee I sip to be around 140 degrees plus or minus a few degrees, but you may prefer yours hotter or cooler. Second, do you drink your coffee black or with cream? The cold half and half I use lowers the temperature of 8 ounces of coffee between 13 and 23 degrees. So, if you use cream, the coffee you pour out of the pot and into your cup has to be hotter to reach your desired temperature, than if you drink it black. Third, how long do you need the coffee in the Chemex to stay hot enough for you? For example, the cozy keeps the coffee hot enough for me for about 30 minutes. At 40 minutes it is marginal, and beyond that, I would have to reheat the coffee to make it hot enough for me. But, I add cold half and half. If you drink yours black, and want the black coffee at 140 degrees, it should be fine for about 50 minutes.Unfortunately, the cozy is not practical for my situation. I make a quart of coffee in an 8 cup Chemex. I drink two 8 oz.mugs, the first right away and the second one about twenty minutes after the coffee is brewed. . Using the cozy, both cups (with cream) are the perfect temperature for me, 142 and 138. If I was the only coffee drinker in the house, this cozy would be great, but I’m not the only one. My wife typically doesn’t pour her mug until an hour after the coffee is brewed. Using the cozy, the temperature of her coffee in her mug before adding cream was down to 133 after an hour. Cream lowered it to about 120, not hot enough for her. So, alas, it doesn’t work for us, and I will continue to use an insulated carafe to keep the coffee hot. However, the cozy may work well for you. As I said, it depends on how hot you want your cup, whether you drink it black and how long you need it to stay hot enough. The cozy itself is well made. I had no problems getting it on the Chemex the first time, even with my arthritic hands. If your situation is different from mine and you think it would fit your needs, go for it.If you buy it, I would recommend getting the silicone stopper also sold on Amazon. It works well too, and saves a couple more degrees of heat than the glass top.

Helpful warmer
I like Blue Horse products. We have their Chemex caddie and find that very useful. The sleeve cozy does a great job retaining heat. I also add a potholder or other devise to help keep the warmth from dissipating through the mouth opening. It will take a day or two for the cozy to fully fit the stomach of the Chemex, but once it does, it's great. I put it on in stages, zipping a little more each day until it stretched to the appropriate size.

Great snug cozy, just follow sizing instructions
I got a medium size cozy for my 6-cup Chemex and it works great! Keeps my coffee nice and warm until I can finish it.After reading reviews I was worried about the sizing. The chart given here works properly! I filled my Chemex to the neck and measured 34oz, right around the 36-oz size for the medium cozy. It fit snugly but zipped up just fine the first time.It seems like small = 4 cup, medium = 6 cup, large = 8 cup, and extra large = 10 cup, but MEASURE YOUR CHEMEX because it's hard to tell which one you have.If you use the chart and measure properly, you'll get the right size. It's a great Chemex cozy!

Game Changer!
I love the Blue Horse Cozy for my Chemex. I no longer want to use the Chemex coffee maker without this cozy. It keeps the coffee hot, and perfect temperature. I leave it on the Chemex, unless I need to do a more thorough cleaning. At first it was a snug fit, and now it's just right. It goes on easily. Another benefit, that I didn't even consider when I ordered it, is that it is also an added protector for the glass of the Chemex. Simple bumps around the sink or kitchen cabinet aren't as much of a concern with the padded protection. Its just a fantastic product and worth the price.

Works, sort of...
First of all, it fits the Chemex coffee maker very well. It has a zipper to take it off and put it on, and, while it was tight the first time, it stretched just a little bit to make a very good fit. Now, it goes on and off easily and is snug. It doesn't help keep the coffee very warm, though, which is why I bought it. The downside to the Chemex is that the coffee gets cold very fast, and this only slows that a little. If that is your purpose, get a thick hand towel and wrap it around. That works much better! But, it does provide protection for handling the fragile Chemex carafe, so, it's worth buying for that reason.

Nice impulse buy or gift but unsure of if it's a good value buy.
It was too small for my Chemex, I probably should have ordered the next size up but it did fit my 700mlHario V60 drip coffee maker. They both cost about the same

Works great
Fits chemex without handle too, gotta let it relax around it for the first few days before it zips up right away just like it says in the product description

Keeps coffee hot.
Works well and keeps the coffee. I ordered a rubber lid that probably is what actually keeps the coffee hot. The two together work well.
