McConkey M1020SB M1020S Open Nursery Tray to Hold pots and Plants, 10.8x21, case of 50, Black

I needed some trays for my new greenhouse that I built, and these were a good price for the quantity. They shipped very fast and I am excited to finally be able to move batches of starts around instead of individually.

NOT the real heavy duty ones (at $3-5 each) which nurseries use - these are not the weight (a bit heavier) like the normal corrugated-bottom solid bottom trays you see everywhere. You do have to put hands under them to carry if heavily loaded - but do the job at a very good price, and excellent if you are using in an outdoors private nursery where you need excellent drainage for the starter pots it is holding.

Just what I needed , good quality plastic.

My greenhouse growers absolutely love these trays. We use hydro systems and and the water will never stagnate. Also the trays hold plenty of weight when we use 1020 propagation cells.

Delivered super fast. I'm pleased with the count for the money. I use them for my seedlings only.

The tray doesn't fit a standard 10x20 tray inside or outside. Because they are the exact same size it warps the tray and pinches the corners. Worthless. Ideally, this tray would be a touch larger so a standard 10x20 would fit nicely inside of it. Returned!

As a vegetable farm we start all of our seedlings ourselves for all four season. Spring is a big time to do so and we underestimated our stock of trays. Bought 100 of these in a pinch and they have worked alright. They are indeed quite flimsy but with only having to move them once after seeds germinate, we didn't find that to be a problem. Few were damaged in transit but not to the fault of the distributor and fixed with ease using trusty duct tape. Overall, they work for the intended purpose of holding soil mix to germinate seeds and arrived within two days.

It’s terrible. My garbage bags are more sturdy than this.. can’t keep these..
